Kyushu Pancake Cafe - 25 Lor Liput

PLEASE fix your ventilation. The smell of oil and someone's perfume (??) was so offputting even though the food was normal. Even my mask smelled like oil after leaving. Had the american big breakfast which comes with their regular pancake, the sides (tomato, hashbrowns, bacon, mushrooms etc.) were nice but I didn't like their pancake. It's dry, too firm and has a coarse texture. Also had their buttermilk pancakes which came with the strawberry sauce and a white wine honey. The buttermilk pancakes have a better texture and taste than the regular, but they are still quite hard. Strawberry sauce was so diluted. White wine honey was actually quite interesting but not sure I would get it again. Their whipped cream is not nice, tastes and feels like cake buttercream frosting instead of a fresh milky taste. We also had an iced milk tea which was 0/10, way too diluted and can't taste anything.

Don't miss this! This savoury Karaage Chicken Waffle was made with the pancake flour base and served with Special Sauce. The Kaarage Chicken was crispy on the outside, tender and and juicy on the inside! This is their top selling item, be sure to order it when you visit!

Lovely pancakes that were made from a blend of seven grains ! For those who want to feel a just a little less guilty eating pancakes and waffles with ice-cream, you should give this a try. Considering that the waffle is not made from the conventional ingredients, it is quite good.

Had lunch here 2 days go. Nice ambience. Friendly staff. But sticky table. Came for lunch again today. Happy that table was not sticky at all. Loved the banana chocolate waffle!

Unique pan cake.. taste just right.. no white egg smell like others pancake.. recommended to try if you stay nearby.. the smoothies also nice.. Please check the menu for the price and other items for your reference..

Taste Factor: Overall experience was good. Quality of the pancake mix is as advertised, they are not your run in the mill commercial pancake mix. Experience Factor: the environment need some work in the ventilator side of things. Lots of kitchen exhaust found their way into the dining area and somewhat dampen the experience. I would recommend sitting outdoor if not for the popular local weather.

The first dining experience here was wonderful because of the very friendly and helpful service crew who are all very willing to make their recommendations! When food were served and explained, we were pleasantly surprised that food was organic and naturally flavoured! I will highly recommend this place. The only setback was the smell indoor, exhaust system is not good so one can smell the “smells of the kitchen”. Fortunately, they have outdoor seating. Hence, we can still enjoy our food!

Tucked at the end of the road, the cafe opens at 11am on Sunday. Its relatively quiet due to the obscure location but it's worth a visit here. As we already had lunch, we ordered ice coffee and their signature fruit tea (hot). The ice milk coffee though not a signature dronk taste aromatic and flavorful. The signature fruit tea was a hit with the kids. It has servings of apples, kiwi, strawberry and orange in the drink itself. Its a warm yet refreshing drink. Definitely worth a try. Refer to my picture, it's a nice empty pot! As it's just too delicious a drink. The place is very clean and the menu looks good with a good variety of food. Their pancakes seems to be a must try and this in our next bucket list.
