Food Wave - 121 Geylang East Central

Boon's Chicken Rice is my family favorite stall and I come for chicken rice most of the time,since Boon's is not there anymore, honestly... we will go elsewhere... ???

I came to this kopitiam very early on a Saturday morning only to find that the only stall that was open was the drink stall. I bought a set of toast N eggs cuz I gave a drink that was unfinished. But half way thru the kopi lady came N told me off N said I cannot drink a outside drink. But I told her that I've bought the set from them hence I'm not just drinking an outside drink with no patronage. N I was told by the other lady to wait for some of the stalls which would be opened momentarily. Soon two stalls appeared to be opened. I approached the Noodle stall only to find that she cannot accept my CDC voucher cuz she doesn't know how to operate it. N I was told I've to wait for the boss to turn up. But she doesn't know when the boss is coming. 1uiye ridiculous. Then I asked the chicken rice stall if he was opened for business N was told in a rather upset manner that he was only opening at 9.30am. I returned to the drink stall to get a drink N as I was still contemplating on getting another toast the kopi lady demanded that I 'go away' cuz to her I was blocking her way. But there were no other customers around then. I find these attitudes very bad N rude. How can this old lady tell a customer off N even showed me an angry dissatisfied look when I asked her why she was so mean. So as a customer I cannot stand bear the counter at a time when it is not busy to decide whether I want to get another toast. A really bad N uncomfortable experience for someone who wants to give them more business. So much for showing respect to them.

Me personally assembled in my begetters having a good feed drop by earliest at this coffee shop for endeavour dissimilar food opt for my cherished food for eatero bill of fare brunch with my Mama and Papa to order for cutlet mee for $4.90 as well as my daddy consuming minced meat noodles $4.00 and I myself ideally chose for half spring chicken rice (fried/baked) $7.90 for menu set 24 at affordable cost feed in commensality conveniently. Thank you. Hope to visit afresh!

This review not for the food or something, It’s all about the girl who taking the drink she is Always shouting when someone take the order.. Hopefully the management will talk to her because not good to hear her shouting voice while we are eating. Very embarrassing..

The drink stall lady is super rude. I'm queueing patiently behind a lady and she suddenly said "Say lah". I said kopi o kosong n toast. She impatiently and rudely said "how many piece". Well..my first and last visit to it. Toast n coffee are so so btw.
