★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent hundreds dollar for the steaks and found out one piece of sirloin for Christmas Eve dinner is spoiled with odd yogurt smell, called the butcher and asked to bring the steak back to check, spent 1 hour to drive 36km just before the dinner, they just returned the $10 for the steak, no sorry no explanation no replacement. Quite bad experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice selection of chees and meet. Really good prices for Mozarella and Grana Padano. As mentioned before the service is so so, but to be honest that is not a big deal since it's just a shop after all

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When is the owner of this place going to listen the reviews and take some actions on the auntie that work as a cashier? She is the ruddiest person I have ever seen in front of a customer. How can a place like this survive in Singapore with such a horrible service? There is a new place opening up in the east soon and I wonder how will Foodie Market adapt to the competition. What a joke

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t get the comments about staff rudeness, thankfully have not encountered it having been here several times! Very much a no frills shop: decent quality meat at a reasonable price. Couldn’t ask for more than that really.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to love this place ten years ago because they had good prices. Less so now. The non-meat section has deteriorated a lot in terms of value-for-money.
Filet of beef you have to buy the whole filet, 1.5 kg. "You can always freeze the leftover". Sorry this is ridiculous in my view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent selection of meat and accompanying items but I’d agree with most of the comments that the service isn’t the best. The cashiers/staff can be quite rude if you ask them questions and often seem like they’re in a bad mood. Worth visiting to get affordable groceries but there’s definitely other places with better service/shopping experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Relatively small marketplace but has quite a sizable offering in terms of meats. Their steaks are indeed quite reasonably priced. Service can indeed be better but I wasn’t expecting much anyways. We bought their Australian and Japanese wagyu and it was perfectly marbled. Next time can just make do with the Australian wagyu. It’s good enough for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic selection of fresh and frozen meats, various types of cheese, and an assortment of quality ingredients and sauces. I made some wonderful spaghetti bolognese with the mince beef, pasta sauce, and cheese bought here, yummy! Prices are reasonable considering the quality. The staff is friendly and helpful too :)
