I went to this shop to buy a kitchen tap....As my tap need to have a special fitting for my water filter, the boss was very patience and friendly to me. He also see me to the door even though it was a small purchase unlike other shops which is beside has unfriendly and over priced product! I came this shop to get a new kitchen sink for my aged solid top. The sales staff was indeed very friendly and professional, he even advised me not to purchase until I come back with the right measurement and gave me a few options that I can consider.

Spent the whole afternoon at tradehub21 to find a rainshower set (without mixer) for my home. checked out the usual suspects... grohe... hansgrohe... crestial... rubine.. and all the different cat prices (under $500 budget). finally at 6pm chanced upon this shop selling Fotile and Supor. basic rainshower add on with all stainless steel diverter, piping and shower head (rain & hand) for 200$. And the quality looked decent (i like stainless steel :) ) and definitely better than the ubiquitous chromed plated products. In fact quality should be similar to grohe (but at half price). Great owner / saleslady too - so patient to go through the parts in the box to ensure all components accounted for, two thumbs up for you! and at past closing time too... very impressed After buying i googled and realized supor is a public listed co in china with their own large manufacturing plant. So not some small fly by night company. OK, the reason i not giving 5*. The installation is a BxTCH... and it's mainly due to poor design choices in the design for assembly. allen screw are tiny (2 mm?) and -- for the DIY'ers.. you have been warned. cover up all your drain holes cos confirm you gonna drop those allen screws, if your tiles are black good luck finding them after they bounce around.The whole piece has to be TOTALLY ASSEMBLED before you attempt to mount it to the wall (a better design is to allow the diverter to be mounted first, and then the pipe in separate sections.. including the overhead pipe.). And the dimension btw the two brackets (777.5mm) -- better measure and drill as close as possible to that.. not much free play.. the shower head fixture that tighten to the overhead pipe has NO GROOVES on it's body... so good luck tightening it, the water seeps out a bit when i first tested it . You have to use an adjustable wrench and wrap the S/S head in cloth carefully in order to tighten it.. anyway, once installed properly it works well. Looks good in my BR, haha! Hopefully no quality issues.. saleslady said 10 year manufacturer warranty.. so that's a plus point. To those wanting to get a rainshower at a budget price but probably same quality as a grohe 450$ set... no harm try it out. Update: been using the rainshower for a few days. the stainless steel set looks good - better than others chrome plated type like rubine for the same price! (see pic.. handshower and mixer are my old existing one).

Supor claims their stainless steel is of high quality with good quality control. My first problem with the products came from the hinges of their toilet seat. The rust was unbelievable. Then they say, it's not a Supor product. Anyway, they say the shower I bought is Supor and I don't have to worry. Within months, you can see the rain shower plate is starting to tarnish. The photo below is after 1 year. It's not the cheap stuff I get off the online store. The quality is questionable. Then today, the spring of the shower head holder also gave way. One year. Sigh... ***Update - As offered, I went to the shop to get the rain shower head replaced on a weekend. The staff there said that it is not rust and that the rusty looking stains can be removed by some soft scouring pad with some muscle power. Indeed it came off, but will take some time. So, he swapped a new one for me together with the broken part I mentioned. That said, I still don't understand why no other parts of this shower set gets this rusty stain. If it is normal for stainless steel to behave this way, I will suggest the company do what others do - that is have the design of the shower head to be covered by rubber material like normally observed in other popular brands. Will update again after observing this set. Note: stainless steel is 304 which is typical for bathroom products.
