β β β β β Overall not too bad. Short grain rice was a pleasant surprise, and the egg and rice were well fried. Pork cutlet was not salty but prawn (5 pcs) were tasteless, though fresh and a bit crunchy. The disappointment was the tomyum taste was too mild, almost zero...
Shrimp Thai style fried rice + Pork cutlet = $7.50 + $3.50

β β β β β Was craving for dinner and read of the good reviews that the store garnered. It was dinner time and I waited less than 10 - 15 mins to get my takeaway! Aunty that took my order was friendly and smiley too.
Ordered SG chicken cutlet rice fried, thin crispy skin with fresh tender chicken. I must say the fried rice doesnβt make me very thirsty as it was not heavily seasoned. Healthier version and I loved it!
Would definitely drop by to try other countriesβs of fried rice. Highly recommended my friends(:

β β β β β Tasty and not too salty, just right. The chilli is a must try as it isnβt too oily and a mixture of sambal, DTF style. Favours came per what you order either plain (with egg and stuff) or, thai, HK, SG, Jpn, Chn etc.

β β β β β Finally get to try this pork chop fried rice in hougang. Hidden in one corner of the coffeeshop, location wise is not the best in this area so only those who know will come. No queue when I was there during Xmas.
Fried rice is a bit soggy but still ok to eat. (Might be due to tapao) The chilli is really the highlight of this stall. Pork chop is tender and soft.
Will return if I wanna eat pork chop fried rice since this is the only one around this area. (And Better than most western food stall version)

β β β β β e pork & chicken cutlet nicely done, flavourful and tender. Fried rice on e other hand favour on e lighter side. Chilli is gd, dry, flaky and not oily.

β β β β β We had the HK Style and Chinese Mala fried rice. Both prefers Chinese Mala to HK Style. Slightly salty to enhance the mala flavour, more tasty than HK Style.
However, the one star to perfection is due to pricing and uncertainty of their consistency as itβs our first time trying. Per plate is priced at $7.50, which is abit steep for kopitiamβs rate.

β β β β β Had the Thai-style fried rice with chicken cutlet and the Hong Kong style XO fried rice with pork cutlet. The portions are bigger than I thought. Its about 1.5-2 bowls worth of rice. Taste-wise I have no complaints :D.
Price may be a little steep for others at $7.50 though.

β β β β β Ordered Mala fried rice with pork cutlet. $7.50
Firstly, the pork cutlet is very well seasoned and cooked, so tender its slight chewy and slight crisp!
The Mala fried rice is a disappointment: the first taste is soy sauce and its very SALTY (!!!) with ALMOST NO taste or fragrance of Mala!!! (Minus 1 ?)
I heard the Thai rice taste better, is it true? Wouldn't dare to try it especially if it's gonna be salty, again! ?
For this price, a piece of veggie or side condiments like pickles/green chili would be better complement all 3 types of nice, but they have none of that except for fried chili crisp with oil. Minus one more ? ?
Will return only if craving for pork cutlet or chicken... ?
