At the first visit, you get to speak with one of their agents. I met Ally, and found her very friendly and professional. This was the first bridal shop I visited so I had no idea what to expect. She let me browse, pick a few dresses to dry on, and then proceeded to suggest more styles. After settling on the final 2-3 that I liked, we then got to discuss the pricing, and I then left, and visited a few more other bridal shops. I ended up choosing them as the dresses there ended up being my favourite. A few things. 1. After choosing your dresses and signing a contract, (they have different packages for 1-dress, 2-dress packages and so on), Initial payment is 50% if I don't remember wrongly. The rest of the payment is collected upon the final collection of dresses. ($700 deposit is returned about 2 weeks after returning the dresses) 2. The package only allows you to rent the dresses for 5 days, which I felt was rather short, cos I was trying to squeeze in a pre-wedding shoot during the same week. But they are closed on Mondays so they do allow you to return on Tuesday if you pick up your dress on Thursday for example. If you want the dresses a few months / weeks earlier for pre-wedding shoot, this comes at an additional cost. 3. They do provide a veil if you need, but some more elaborate veils come also with extra cost. e.g. mine was long and had flowers on them, so I had to top up extra $30. 4. You can also choose from their small collection of accessories to accompany your dress. One hair accessory and a pair of earrings per dress. This is complimentary. 5. Dress fitting begins about 2-3 weeks before your wedding date. (in case of drastic weight changes!) A total of 3 fittings allowed, any more would require payment. The third fitting is also the day you pick up your dresses. 6. I liked very much that they assigned the same agent to you each time you visit for measurement and dress fitting. Good continuity. 7. Great central location, parking.. may be a little difficult. URA parking at Blair Road is what I used every visit. Front door can be slightly hard to find, the only signage there is at the door at the foot of the steps leading up to the shop. The shop itself - great ambience, very nice and warm cosy feel. 8. Sorry one last thing which I didn't love, but got over it. They don't allow you to take photos of the gowns / in the gowns, until you actually confirm with them and put down deposit. After that you're free to go mad with photos and videos. Overall, I had a positive experience, and would recommend them to friends. I loved the two dresses I rented, and no regrets at all choosing them. Prices were also competitive - aside from having the dresses I liked best, their prices were also the best! (I had gone to Amanda Lee and Enamoured) Most importantly also to match what kind of wedding you are planning for... I think the dresses at enamoured are more grand, if that is what you are searching for. I wanted a relaxed, bohemian feel, and Frieda worked perfectly for me. Happy dress hunting!

From the start to the end, Elly (sorry if I have misspelled!) was super attentive and gave good feedback on the fitting, and that immediately made me felt at ease with the entire fitting process as a bride-to-be. I had a very pleasant experience at Frieda Brides while looking for my wedding dress. I love simplicity and elegance, and this is exactly what Frieda Brides offered me. If you are not a big fan of princess gowns, Frieda Brides is the right studio for you. Also, being European and looking for a wedding dress in Singapore might be challenging because most of the studios offer dresses in smaller sizes. It was not a problem at Frieda Brides. The gowns’ selection on the website matched to the dresses available in the studio. It's worth a visit!

How can you not love this wedding dress?!? ❤️❤️❤️ It’s exactly how I felt when I worn it...just perfectly fit to my body size and the design just absolutely amazing. So let’s talk about the boutique itself It’s located opposite the Singapore General Hospital. The shop’s in 1st floor along other shophouses. Very welcoming ambience in their boutique. Nat and Nabilla were Super helpful. Visited their shop multiple times not only to choose which one to rent but also to bring my closest friends to give me some feedback which gown that would really fit me. Nabilla from the boutique who recommended for me to try Dakota Rose wedding gown and I tried it. And that’s it - my wedding gown. They’re very helpful in a sense of helping you to get clarity of which type of gown you prefer or they would think great for you and they would also ask the wedding venue so they can easily find suits you and for the venue. I think I’ve tried 12 gowns before I made my decision, so don’t be shy to ask for more if you can’t make decision. They’ll be happy to find or assist you with the ones you want to try so Long as you’re within your appointment time :) Price wise - you can either rent or buy. For me, I rented it instead more on practical choice since we don’t have much space in our house. Again, they will help you find one according to your budget if you have, like me :) I think you can do 2 installments- from the moment you decided and 1 month before your wedding. Of course, you can definitely pay upfront if you can :) Return Terms and Condition - depending on which location you will your wedding venue. To better get accurate days when you can return, you can ask them. Also, you have to pay deposit on TOP of paying the rent just to make sure if any damage can easily deduct from there. Overall very satisfied customer not only with the wedding gown I picked but also with their service. It’s truly a big impact what’s your experience with the service. So no doubt, very recommendable for you to visit and try their gowns. If you can’t find what you need, I’m pretty sure you’ll be happy with the service ❤️??

Frieda Brides was the first bridal studio I visited and right away I knew it was the one! They carry really unique dresses and had plenty of choices for someone like me who wanted a minimalist dress with a touch of glam. Natalia was really great throughout the whole process. She gives honest opinions on whether the dress works for you and I ended up picking a dress she recommended. The only downside was, with so many gorgeous choices, I kept wondering if I had picked the right one... All in all a great place for the bride who wants something a little different and a seamless experience!

I really liked the gowns at Frieda Brides. It was a very fuss free, simple process that I enjoyed. It was a small boutique experience, with a very personable Nat & team who were all warm & helpful in guiding the process. I rented the minimalist Archie dress and it fit beautifully. The one and small minor worry that I had was on the deposit that I would forfeit if I didn't take care of the dress...seeing that it was the only time ever that I would wear anything with a train, with alcohol in hand... I was actually quite sheepish when I returned the dress with a dirty train... but I was so comforted when Nat told me that it was absolutely normal. Finally, when the deposit was returned, I felt relieved and that actually I hadn't to worry in the first place. Frieda Brides is a trustworthy, reasonable and experienced boutique that really is worth every bit of its premium.

My wedding was on the 4th of Dec 2021 and had an early round of appointments made across various bridal studios. Came to Frieda around June 2021 and was impressed by their gown collections. Unlike the rest of the studios I visited, there were many minimalist-designed gowns carried by Frieda from international designers. I chose the Marley by Jenny Yoon in the end :) Natalia was super helpful, gentle and clear with instructions in-store and responsive to my questions over Whatsapp too. The team also emails invoices and gown deposits punctually. Another part I enjoyed about the experience was that the hair and makeup package tie ups were quite seamless and professional, making an affordable and fuss-free process. I could even return my gown using GrabExpress as I wasn't going to be near the physical shop during my honeymoon post-wedding. Highly recommend for a fuss-free and pleasant experience! :)

I got my gown from Frieda Brides (Andrews by Jenny Yoo) and it really was everything I wanted in a wedding gown :) The service at Frieda Brides was also amazing and I truly looked forward to every appointment I had with them. Prior to selecting my gown, the team was very helpful in advising and in addressing all my concerns about the gowns I had in mind. The team was also very accommodating with all my requests, and gave me many suggestions on how to alter my dress for a better fit. Overall, the experience was very fun and stress-free, and I would highly recommend Frieda Brides and the team there :)
