★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Repeat orders a few times already during CIrcuit Breaker period and Phase 1. Food is tasty and a generous portion. The rice comes with duck slices, a full braised egg, vegetables and tau kwa. We also love the grandma’s meatballs and chai poh egg. We usually add a soup, such as salted vegetables and duck, or lotus root with pork ribs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is seriously over-rated. Nothing to rave about. The veggies are tough, the fish is hard, and meat overly salty. Only saving Grace is the hot plain porridge.
Not only the auntie serving and preparing has the worst manners, even their spoons and forks have food bits stuck onto it. Totally disgusting.
In fact, the teochew porridge near to this stall, called Batong or Patong, is way way way better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought duck, pomfret fish, minced meat, salted veg soup and preserved vegetable for around $29. The braised duck sauce was tasty but the rest of the dishes were pretty mediocre and similar to most dishes elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Late night Teochew porridge at its best - reasonably priced. We were wowed by the sheer tastiness of the simple dishes - fried cabbage, salted veggie, streamed fish, braised duck, etc. Porridge served piping hot, perfect as late night supper. Definitely will be back for more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charges $21.50 for 2 person portion of porridge, minced pork, omelette and vegetables and gives… this. (Yes, they didn’t even bother to separate the porridge!).
Extremely stingy. Will never order from them again.
