Fried kuay teow a bit dry. Good for those who want less oil. Serving portion is little as compare to Lor 5 hawker centre. The address given is wrong not blk 35. The correct address is Toa Payoh Lor 8 market stall #01-35. Beside the stall u can try the home made pau.

Overall it's a mean plate of smokey dry-style Char Kway Teow that's easy on the dark sweet sauce, but serious on the wok hei. Though not widely known, there's a steady stream of customers— enough for the couple to install an electronic queue system. What I enjoy most about this stall is they know not to overcook the cockles. Bloody-juicy!

Nov 2019. It was by my definition the best CKT in SG. It's a matter of time, it would go into Michelin guide. The delivery had ample wok-hei to negate the effects of the lardy oil. It was not sickly greasy and appeared guilt free and i just couldn't stop. The bean sprout gave it an extra crunch and the fragrance was greatly lifted up by the garlic. The chilli was tamed at normal portion but turned hellish if u asked for 加辣。 The cook's skill was really great. The CKT had no burns with that amount of wok hei. A far-cry from those famous ones in Old Airport and Hong Lim.

This is a mess , not worth the effort queuing or waiting for this . I came in 430pm non peak hours saw a queue. Semi convinced this is good and waited for my to come after 20mins. What I get is a miserable soulless plate of CKT . The taste is all over the place . The food did not bind itself to give you the full Fusion of CKT. The noodles lifeless and greasy . Chinese sausages too salty . No wok hei taste and very much soulless . Portion is really tiny . Aftertaste is all grease in a bad way. Probably one of my worst CKT in my lifetime.

Need to wait during lunch. Still my favorite fried kway tiao all these years?

This CKT is the whiter version. The reason for the long queue is because the chef fry one plate at a time. He uses more water than oil to fry. Love the taste though.

Pretty long wait, especially during lunch time. It is the lighter version of Cha Kway Teow and less salty. Though I preferred the darker soya sauce and saltier version, I was pretty satisfied with this too.
