I don’t quite understand the terrible reviews, but to each their own I guess. I came here on 27 of December, 1905h, and the manager(?) (Nadhirah, I hope I got the name right) has this extremely warm and welcoming attitude. Literal embodiment of service with a smile. The waffle and banana split tasted wonderful as well. This is my second time here, and I don’t regret coming back. :)

Visited the outlet, was attended to pretty quickly. Bought a deal off lazada, very easy to redeem and everything is good ?? love the cookies & cream ice cream! Their waffle is decent too. Thank you!

The staffs were friendly and attentive but the food was just ehhh. The worst thing are the prices for the food, its way too overpriced on its own and you hafta add 10% service charge and of course a 7% gst on top of it, makes it more unappealing as a whole. The quality of the food was also eh, i ordered a sakura strawberry waffle, the waffle was supposed to be pink entirely on the inside(based on the promo catalogue image) but the waffle was mainly yellow in color on the inside and that pink powder on the top tastes nothing like sakura at all. For something like that i would pay at most 5-7 bucks but it costs 20.65 just for a waffle and a $1.90 add on drink. This is the only thing I've tried so far, i wouldn't entirely not recommend this place at all as there could be better dishes that they serve here. So if you are planning on comin here, this is a heads up for the ballpark price that you might need to pay for their food.

Que, get a table and menu, and then order and pay at the counter. We especially like the waffles and as for the ice-cream.....it's great too.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Stood by the ice cream window asking for seats, staff said she would check and walked away to wash plates, waited for 5mins before we had to get her attention again and she told us there were no seats for 4 and she walked away without checking if we were okay to sit separately. We waited to order but one staff was eating and the other was still washing plates and doing her own thing so we left after no one attended to us. Will not recommend anyone to patronise this store. Better off getting waffles & ice cream at the A&W on the same level.

Went for a light lunch with my daughter at Gelare AMK Hub. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The meatball was juicy and tasty but mashed potato was abit dry. Mac and Cheese was ok too. Our waffle tasted good but too much hazelnut sauce that made it overly sweet. Overall, we had an enjoyable time.

Must say to echo out the rest of the customers who gave their 1 star review. The waffle is disappointing, soft and certainly not fragrant at all. Flat. It was the butter, hazelnut and whip cream that saved the waffle. Sadly but true! Tuesday offer can barely justify though after the promo is $4.90 including 10% service charge.

This review is for the newly opened Gelare in the AMK Hub basement. Went for waffles on a Thursday. It was very awkward to order as the manager and the other staff was just standing around looking. Wanted to order the $5.40 plain waffle... i assumed that was the price, although there was a half priced Tuesdays note below that was in a different color. So since it was in a different color, i thought that meant for everything on the menu. This caused confusion when i went to order as the staff kept trying to upsell the full works waffle with cream etc. They didn't even clarify but just charged for the $8.90 plain waffle. Only realized when i had to go back to the cashier. I still don't get how half price of $8.90 equals to $5.40? My parents also ordered the half waffle which was supposed to come with whipped cream and maple syrup. We only received the maple syrup. The utensils also only came with a miserable ONE paper napkin. Oh. And the waffles weren't too nice. They were overly salty. For this price, there are other better waffle places.
