This place is awesome! I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends! The breakfast platter was the best dish of all, the egg club sandwich was really delicious too! It’s a much better location now than before!

Terrible service. Ordered at 10.40am...waited till 11.20am still didn't get my order. Went to enquire feom counter staff because thoae behind my queue already got theirs.. but she simply said twice "preparing already"... and walked off. Terrible manners

My go-to coffee place if needed a change of environment for work. My favourite would be their Newton Branch that is located in a more secluded region with plugs on certain seats. The coffee without promotion is costly. Partial of the coffee cost is to pay for the ambients.

After dinner, came to CBTL amk hub to chill for coffee and desserts on 02 May 2022. Was not crowded at all. Seems like this particular outlet hires a particular group of ethnicity who lack manners and basic customer service skills. Not expecting high-class treatment but simple and decent service. Are the staff being underpaid? Having personal issues? Forgot to take medication? No niceties and greetings. Looks like they are not keen to work there. My order was simple. 2 latte and a slice of cake. The latte and the lychee cake were both nice. I'll give 4/5. However, the whole dining experience was ruined by one of the tudungs. After I paid for my purchases, I asked if it's possible to add whipped cream to one latte. The petite girl/cashier checked with the barista and then said okay. If you can't add whipped cream, it's ok, just let me know. I can't read your minds! So this barista tells me it's $0.50 for adding whipped cream but only this time, she won't be charging me for it. I was surprised because I've requested whipped cream for hot drinks previously and no staff has charged me. This outlet is not the first time I'm patronising. So I asked her 'since when you've been charging the $0.50" and she said 'since the day she has been working! LOL. I find it hilarious that you're charging for $0.50 for a pathetic amount of whipped cream when Starbucks does it FOC? Gosh, when I was telling her such "rules" need to be written down so customers are aware, she just walked away without any acknowledgement. Guess she needed my $0.50 for her festival? Rude! The place was like a pigsty! Very dirty with tissues all over the place. Customers have left their drinks and trays on the tables for so long and none of the staff bothered to clear them. My table was sticky and had water stains (condensation) and I had to get one of the girls to wipe the table. Doesn't seem understaffed. There were about 5 ladies and the outlet was not crowded at all. Lazy staff generally. Anyway, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. Not saying I'll boycott CBTL. There are many nice and sincere staff in other CBTL outlets so will still patronise them EXCEPT the one at amk Hub. Go retrain your staff and teach them proper basic manners and don't give attitudes. If they're not interested to work, kindly let other genuine people do the job! Ever since this CBTL has changed its location due to renovation or maybe taken over by new management, it's been bad. Lousy service overall.

Very big outlet, simple & clean design. Easy to get seat if compare other cafe; I guess bcos they have written for dine-in is 60 minutes (but I seated 1.30 hrs they didn’t come can chase as there still have seats available ?)
