Waiting time was long even though we were the only customers. Food (we ordered K Pop sandwich and chicken rice) tasted so so despite the price. Seats weren't exactly the most comfortable I'll stick to just getting their drinks and leaving from now

Drinks are good! I noticed they mentioned that their pearls are handmade hourly, and I had my drink at 17:55. It tasted a little bit harder than usual. I recommend you to CHECK the timings before you come. They make the pearls fresh hourly so if you come when a new hour just starts, it’ll be really soft and chewy. I think that the pearls still taste good no matter the time, but for people who care about how soft their pearls are, remember to check the time of ordering haha. Still really yummy though! recommend the grape pearls or burnt caramel pearls with jasmine green tea. 25% sugar is good enough. Also tried the cocoa egglet (3.9) I think it's good! not too strong cocoa taste, with a really subtle hint of bitterness. For the matcha egglet (3.9), the matcha taste is authentic and not overly strong or sweet, with a bitter aftertaste. Both are crisp to the right degree and served at the right temperature. Place has a terazzo abstract pattern design though limited seats available. Service was great! Overall would recommend ❤️

We are certainly disappointed with the experience we encountered at Play Ground @AMK HUB today. We paid a visit at 3pm on 9 April, was told to expect a 8-min waiting time for a cup of bubble tea. After 20 mins we checked with the lady, was told that there’s still a lot of grab orders in front us. We said should have let us know the actual waiting time instead of keeping us waiting as we are rushing to somewhere. The lady with specs and pony tail then gave us a very bad attitude “We have a lot of orders, if u don’t want to wait, we will just refund you” “Next time we won’t promise about the time”. While we understand the shop is short-handed and unable to keep up with the orders, this kind of customer service is certainly unexpected and eye-opening. Throwing tantrum to the customers who have waited for you 20 mins without any updates yet were asked to wait further, this is a red flag. We believe that if you can’t deliver what you over promise, you should not take in orders and the response we received is unacceptable. We have been a loyal customer of play-made, our experience at outlets have been pleasant. However this incident has changed our perception towards the brand. Perhaps the staffs should be trained on basic customer service.

Another new addition to @amk_hub! Playground by @playmadeonezo! A totally new concept that serves hot food as well as their bbt series! Fret not, their amk MRT bbt outlet isn’t closing as they focus on different concepts! The food they have range from building your own salad bowls, to egglets, to sandwiches and burgers. Waiting time took awhile, but that was because they heated the food up, which is fine by me. They also have a promo now where you get a free milk tea with each purchase! Chicken is pretty generous servicing and is hot. ?? A new place always has teething problems as usual. It was quite a funny moment when they dunno what’s the diff between their sunrise and sunset coffee ?

The egglet didn’t look appetising at all in the photos flashed on the storefront displays, was reluctant to order it. Very glad I was proven wrong! One of the tastiest pastries I’ve had for awhile. It’s crispy on the outside, slightly chewy inside and not oily at all and the sweetness is just right. The menu photos really don’t do it justice, maybe it could be that the contrast is way too dark, and the shiny appearance makes it look oily and mushy?? I’m not a marketing person but the photos definitely need some rework…

Drinks here are decent and with unique pearl options. The chicken sandwich i ordered had well toasted bread(done just right) which i appreciate. The shredded chicken was acceptable but nothing too amazing about the sandwich. Almost every "main dish" on the menu can be accompanied by a drink as part of a set. Doesn't apply to the egglets that they are supposed to be more well known for though. My sandwich + medium sized drink + burnt caramel pearls costed me $10.40 in total.

Service not as bad as reviewed. I guess maybe just depend on the timing you visit. I visited on a Tuesday at 3:45pm. Order was served to me within 5 mins. Although you see there are grab delivery man, service staff is polite. The only one minus point is no other payment method except cash.

Egg salad croissant is good, buttery & crispy. Egg roll is alright, too salty imo because there’s too much soy sauce - should serve it on the side. BBT is good as usual, my fav drink. Price can be more affordable. Environmental friendly cutlery ?? Will want to try the egglet next time. Overall, average place - good as a place for a quick drink and snack.
