Bought Thai Airways air tickets with Giamso through Skyscanner. Contacted Giamso to retrieve airline booking reference to do seat selection. They responded promptly. Deserving of 5-star service

Never ever ever ever ever again!!!! Very unhelpful and unfriendly staff, arrogant customer service representatives and very difficult-to-navigate website. I booked a ticket through them, the website would not accept my last name and ended up revording it wrongly. When I called the helpline, they were all but hepful.

Ordered land tour with accommodation at Gold Coast with them. Good worth of money (cheaper than self plan). The trip was smooth, and no issue with us in all transfers and theme park entrance etc. Helpful and prompt staff. Was contacted via email by them initially after i submitted the enquiry on Tripzilla. Competitive price with good service.

Booking was made on 15 January 2020. Due to the unprcedented events, a refund was requested, the agency kept claiming that they have yet to receive the refund from the airlines. Checked directly with the airlines and they confirmed that the refund has been remitted to the agency within 6 days following the request. The airline has also helped to contact the agency but have reverted to me that the agency's phone line is unavailable. Till date, I have yet to receive my refund. A travel agency that has no honesty, no hotline, and not prompt with facts in reply.

Absolutely horrendous tour. Dated 29 Dec 2019 - 3 Jan 2020. Never in my wildest dream would I have thought that I would taste the worst ever "ramen", "tonkatsu" and "bento" in Japan. It says a lot when convenience store and airplane food make a much more satisfying meal than the cold, soggy, leftover Chinese imitation of Japanese cuisine that is included in this tour. Food preferences/allergies were not even taken into account during this tour as all included meals were pre-prepared, besides hotel buffet breakfasts. Unfortunately for us who were naive enough to join this tour, it was impossible to visit alternative restaurants as we were only given a maximum of 30 minutes for each meal before being chased out so these Chinese restaurants could usher in their next victims from subsequent tour groups. Once we figured out what was going on, more than half the group would rush to find the nearest convenience stores for some decent, hot Japanese food. In addition, every hotel and attraction in the itinerary were very secluded with nothing much within waking distance. Having checked the hotel rates, it became clear why Giamso could offer such competitive prices for their tour packages. The itinerary was terrible too. We were at Osaka Castle from 9-10am when the castle and its internal guided tour starts operating at 9:30. We were brought to a shopping mall and was informed that there were 77 stores. We were there from 10:15-11:15am and 3 touristy shops were opened. The rest, such as Daiso, only opens at 11am. Despite multiple attractions being closed over the New Year holidays, we still had to drive past them or waste time looking from the outside in order to fulfil the itinerary. Approximately 60-70% of the trip was spent sitting in the tour bus. Even though Dotonbori was a 30 minutes drive from our hotel on day 4, we checked in around 5pm that day and had Dotonbori planned as the final attraction on day 5 before a 90 minutes journey to our final hotel. Because they have not scammed us enough, we were brought to a latex factory in the middle of nowhere on day 5 of the tour where Chinese salespeople were trying to hard-sell pillows and mattresses. Due to the detour and time wasted here, we were only allocated one hour at Dotonbori, Osaka. By the end of it all, everyone was delighted to escape this hellish trip. Even the tour guide was too ashamed to request for any tips. TL;DR If you see any tours by Giamso, RUN!
