β β β β β Dont really like their serangoon outlet. I always get the Taiwanese noodles without any mushrooms and their portions are soo little. I quite literally get 2 or 3 pieces of tofu and the noodles are visibly lesser than what they offer that other outlets. I thought its probably just one day (uk due to some circumstances) but its always like that here. Staff were super rude to me many circumstances too. Its a very good restaurant but definitely wont be back at this outlet :((

β β β β β Food was average and overpriced but the poor customer service was the deal-breaker during my visits. I will share 1 of my worst experiences at this vegetarian chain.
On a Sunday afternoon, a frontline service elderly man was faced with a sudden queue for dining in. My friend and I arrived ahead of its peak when there was no crowd. We found ourselves a conducive table of 4, just in front of the kitchen.
We waited a very long time for our orders to come to the table. It was delayed by the incessant takeaway/food delivery orders as we saw non-stop packing of cooked food into containers.
While waiting patiently for our food, the queue started building up at the restaurant. We were interrupted by the elderly service man who tried to move us to a table of 2 so that a family could take our place.
We were already settled nicely at a table which was quieter. Although we declined to move, we offered to split the table so that it could accommodate 2 more diners.
However, he was fixated on getting a table for 4. He kept pointing fingers at us to the waiting customers, as if we were the culprits of their waiting to dine in.
This is very rude as customers have the right to choose where they want to sit and dine especially if they had arrived ahead of the peak period. Moving on, I'd rather dine elsewhere than support businesses which don't respect their customers.

β β β β β Pleasantly surprised. I like the herbal soup base and the green bowl full of greens, mushrooms and 3pcs of mock shrimp. I like veg but would not choose vegeterian meal usually, and I like this!

β β β β β Great food, but bad value. This would be very expensive mid-range vegetarian local food you can find. The taste is really good though, but for the value you get, it's really a tough sell. Portions are really small. The only thing that is value for money is their noodle bowls (dry/soup). Bentos or cai fan style food are the most expensive items on the menu. A small portion of cabbage cost 4 bucks and is less than a third of the portion you would get from a cai fan store. A small bowl of gong bao mushroom cost $7.90. It's just food for the rich. But nonetheless, I'll give credit when it's due ... The food is tasty, way above the average, but not the best. That's why sometimes I still find myself venturing back for their vegetarian rendang, gong bao mushrooms and herbal soup to name a few favorites. Some outlets are better than others. Nex is the best for me compared to PLQ, Star Vista (worst), and Bugis outlets. Service is so-so, pretty much self service except for ala carte orders of non ready-to-cook items.

β β β β β The sesame oil rice was arguably my favourite vegetarian dish. Fried dumpling was really crispy while the chili crab sauce tasted 90% like the real thing which was amazing and great with the fried buns. Vegetarian siu mai was nice too. Delicious and enjoyable vegetarian fare ???

β β β β β Update Jan 2022
New dish!!! Ipoh horfun!
Tasted as good as it looked.
Sauce was light not starchy
Tasty not salty
Vege portion was generous and blanched lightly so it was crunchy and juicy.
Fried wantons was filled with a flowy mushroom n carrot filling, pastry was light and crispy, not oily at all
The tofu roll was crispy on outside and soft on inside.
And the chicken rice chilli to drizzle as you wish. Heavenly! Hope this is permanent!

Best value. Reliable service and food.
Easiest to order at the table with QR code than to queue for table then queue for counter order.
We Always eat Andalusian burger or noodles or bento with rendang. But tried a special recently and it was really yummy .. laksa rice
