β β β β β Lousiest Bank i ever encounter.
Use this bank at your own risk!
To open company current account i had to make 4 trips to branch to give them the correct documents
as the info, was given wrong when i email to ask.
Was to stand at counter to self-fill in the stack of application forms, Not even offer u tp Seat at the booths.
After finally submission of all required documents,
They call after 3 working days to say not successful to open bank account and no need to give any reasons.
Worst bank i ever encounter

β β β β β A senoir staff suggest 2 saving schemes i should put my saving, which i did. Then, finding out after a year that she messed up. During circuit breaker, she works at home. I called her on her Hp, she did not pick up, i msg her she didnt reply. After 3 days i went down to the bank, and found out the error...then she called me. She refused to acknowledge her mistakes, even though I found out in the bank that she did. I will never use Maybank again!

β β β β β Extremly good experience with the front desk officer on monday 20.02.2020. Polite and helpful. He even called me up and reprepare a form that i filled wrongly. All this while dealing with other customers coming in. Trully a good experience compared to other banks encounter i had.

β β β β β Extremely poor customer service by one unenthusiastic staff dealing with credit card application. After two visits and 2 months later, I am still chasing Maybank for the card. Amazing!

β β β β β Went to place an fixed deposit and guy manning ticket dispenser gave me ticket with the RM instead of usual counter service. RM was cold, unfriendly and made clumsy attempt to make me park my money in some 10 yr product with non guaranteed returns (read: very poor product knowledge and understanding of customer needs). When i said i will stick to FD, he told me curtly to go back to counter q and walked away. All this happened with NO eye contact n 'black' face by RM, THE ENTIRE TIME . Look, this is not the only bank/instance where they tried to pull this tactic but at least the RM was friendly and helpful in helping to close off the FD transaction which was why I was there for in the first place. N possessed better product knowledge. This is very off-putting experience, Maybank. Your RM really need to pull up his socks if they want customers to entrust money to them. But kudos to their efficient counter staff who clear transactions very quickly.

β β β β β Went on 28 Dec 2021 at abt 3pm.. the front desk guy is polite and apologetic to customers in waiting.. initially I see many bad reviews and was skeptical.. I am glad it was a fast and smooth visit..

β β β β β Lousy customer service. The waiting time is super long. Staff are impatient. Kept interrupting and talking over us. When we asked questions, they don't bother to check and just say they can't advise. Isn't it their job to find out the answer if they don't know?
