โ โ โ โ โ 2nd time returning to this place for seafood. The seafood is fresh and tasty. This day i took the hot platter + 1 kid meal + 2 soup = SGD 191. The portion is nice. The place is always crowded, best to make reservation in advance. Parking can be challenging during peak hours. The customer service is average, they do their basic but not giving the welcome feel.

โ โ โ โ โ For food: the starters were good, the main (we ordered fish) were good too but pasta was not impressive.
Unfortunately the service, the system and toilet hygiene are disappointing. Upon arrival there was no one in the counter and the staff just passed by even when they see us. I needed to stop one of the staff (likely to be the supervisor in-charge on that day) to let them know our reservation for 1PM that day. Yet I was told we have to wait for 20-30mins. I did ask casually what is the purpose of making a reservation then. waiting for your table even after reservation is acceptable to me. But expecting guests to wait minimal of 20-30mins after they made a reservation, seem like system flaw or no system put in place to accommodate reservation. Or maybe there was no one check and prep for reservation for that day.
Anyway, since we have travelled all the way to this place which was not really accessible unless you take taxi or drive. We agreed to wait and was asked to sit outside while waiting. There was nothing offered during waiting times. Not even the menu for us to browse.
My suspicion was also correct that the staff/ supervisor in-charge didnโt communicate to his team that we are waiting for our reserved table, because in between I asked another staff if our table is ready. Again we were asked to wait 15-20mins. At this time there were actually couple of empty tables yet to be cleared, which were left that way since the past 10++mins also. We ended up waiting for 40mins++ after checking couple of times on our reserved table status.
I am sure people will think maybe they do not have enough man power during this time. However, as someone who worked in F&B industry with proper system, good customer service and communication between team mates, the team can definitely make waiting a pleasant experience for their guests.
A side from that, when one of my friend was making the order the staff whom was taking our order is pretty opinionated and almost like insisting his recommendation is better to be followed from his tone and way of communicating his opinion to the guests. Fortunately, my friend was patient and we just proceed with the way we preferred our fish to be prepared. To ease away the negative atmosphere, my friend and I were casually making a joke or laughed out of it. At least our other friendsโ mood werenโt affected much.
Besides, the issue also affecting the restroom hygiene. I visited the restroom but I didnโt end up using it. It was because of the condition. It is dirty, sting/ pungent smell, no toilet paper and the toilet seat has stains around it. Judging from the condition, I believe, it was not clean daily or not even two days once.
Perhaps order for delivery will be better to avoid chaos and poor service as well as unpleasant toilet.

โ โ โ โ โ Back at Greenwood Fish Market for a second time as there was the World Oyster Festival going on, bringing in a huge variety of oysters from all over the world.
Read some reviews about people having issues getting a table, and while I was lucky that I came early and could get a table immediately, I did witness some customers who made reservations face that problem when they arrived.
Moving on to the food, the oysters at Greenwood never disappoints, and while some variations did not go well with our tastebuds, those that did really satisfied us greatly. We had some mains to go along with the oysters as well, and they were great too! Great food for sure, will not stop me from coming again in future! :)

โ โ โ โ โ Fresh seafood! Had the family sharing cold seafood platter, grilled alaskan king crab, barramundi fish & chips and gnocchi. Last two dishes were very average though. Staff were also very friendly and gladly helped celebrated my momโs birthday with the cake that we brought to the restaurant!

โ โ โ โ โ My family of 5 had 5 mains and 5 starters, the food was absolutely fantastic and definitely worth the price. If youโre one for strong flavours you would absolutely enjoy the food here. Special shout out to the Seared Hokkaido Scallops and Chargrilled Spanish Octopus, a must try for sure!

โ โ โ โ โ Considering the price, the food is classic but nothing fantastic. Not aimed at the general population but rather the upscale neighbourhood area.
The barramundi fish and chips had super fresh fish. But the batter wasn't crisp enough for our taste, fries weren't really special either - the tartar sauce was good though. The spicy seafood linguine was generous in its portions of squid and octopus, but other than that it doesn't stand out.
We also had ceasar salad with salmon, which was dressed lightly (which we prefer) - the only real topping was the generous flakes of salmon. Oyster were as oysters are.
Total bill was $133 for two without drinks. Left the place feeling like we had a light and healthy meal... Guess that's a good thing, but didn't really satisfy the craves! Would maybe come back if craving seafood and happen to be in this neighbourhood.

โ โ โ โ โ Celebrated my birthday here. Our calamari came almost within 10 min, but waited close to 30 min for rest of the food to arrive.
Ordered one of the fresh fish and was served with a cold dish, told the staff and he just went in to microwave it. Very disappointed as I would have expected for them to redo the dish, moreover we didnโt pay peanuts.
I love the food, itโs enjoyable but today wasnโt a good day. Very disappointed with the overall experience.

โ โ โ โ โ It's my first time to eat at Greenwood Fish Market, the food are superb from starter to dessert. It was a great experience as well. Will definitely come again, highly recommended. The service is great too, the Supervisor named Marie accommodated us very well?
