★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting place for upmarket Bak Chor Mee. The menu has a good range of noodles, appetisers and other dishes. One variety of Bak Chor Mee has small abalones but that is on the pricey side. Good quality is pretty good. Just on the noodles, there are probably better stalls though this place uses more premium ingredients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent bowl of fancy bak chor mee. The fish dumplings were good, not many places sell this nowadays. Prawns were really fresh, soup was flavourful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the noodles that is done just right, al dente and springy. The prawn balls is my favourite, paired with watercress, yummy! Hope their business picks up and they reopen more outlets!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the better Mee Pok places I’ve been to; noodles are cooked al dente and flavour of sauce has just enough vinegar. Chilli might be a tad on the spicier side though.
Ingredients weren’t in generous amounts but portion is just nice and individual ingredients were good (specifically ngoh hiang, pork lard, Japanese egg and the prawn paste chicken skewer). Love how the lard added depth to the flavour of this dish. Will come back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful and not quiet. Staff are friendly.
Mee pok has great flavours. The hanjuku egg added is pretty nice too.
Chicken wings were the best! Ordered the garlic flavour. Well marinated, very crispy and does not feel oily. They have shrimp paste flavour too.
Would come again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tucked in corner at B1 of Capitol Piazza, this is bustling outlet at lunch hour. Quite a big space lots of seats.
Tried the signature mee pork at $6.80. Flavours are v light even though they asked if I want chilli and vinegar, lard is crispy and fresh. Not much ingredients for the bowl, the star is the soup.
So it’s price is a tad on high side for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mid size eating outlet. Quiet enviroment with friendly staff. Price a bit high but good food. Abalone mee pok was tasty and noodle texture was good. My opinion is better than other brands. Sesame crispy prawn paste skewer was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely love the organized seating arrangement. Staff was very alert.
Came here for lunch and found this lovely mee pok shop in Capitol. Aside from this mee pok shop and the nasi lemak shop beside it, most of the shops are pretty quiet downstairs, with very little customer foot traffic. Even the Burger King in the building is pretty quiet. That said, this shop has a good flow of customers. The staff taking the orders is very alert, and she doesn’t allow customers to ‘chope’ or reserve seat unless they have ordered, which makes it really fair for the customers in front. I had no difficulty finding a seat to eat my noodles.
Waiting time for the noodles was alright. I do think the price is abit on the high side, but the noodles are pretty good, cooked al dente style, and the noodles are qq.
I love that it comes with a lava egg. The otah was so so and I would not think you would necessarily need to purchase that as an add on unless you are hungry.
I do like the drink that they sell onsite. It’s refreshing.
