I bought a dress 2 days ago for my daughter and the staff in charge told me to come back with the receipt to exchange to a bigger size if needed.
Today I went to the store with the dress and the receipt but the staff in charge made me wait for 30 minutes as she kept arguing with me that I cannot change the dress. Such a dumb salesperson that cannot even perform a simple exchange (the simplest task a staff can do).
After half an hour her staff came and finally changed the item to a bigger size. And the staff who was arguing with me suddenly disappeared

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love how empty the store was. Not that many people shopping. Was here on a Friday night around 9ish. Don’t usually expect to get much service in H&M but was pleasantly surprised to be attended to by Gracey who helped pick out some clothes for my dad. Great service from Gracey it was like a personal shopper experience which is a first time for me at H&M!

I walk into the H&M store in men section nobody there. the staff at the counter were quiet. then a while later, some women walked in and to the ladies section. and i heard a ladies voice shouting "Welcome!" . so what is this? your staff's being selective to greet their walk in customers? what book does she learn this customer service method from? I am curious. I would like to know. so i just leave. they were clustering at the counter talking among themselves listening to a lady, supposedly the manager/supervisor? same person showing this "selective customer servcing". wow

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the store is not busy, with a staff to customer ratio of nearly 1 to 1. Yet, no one thought to man the cashiers until we went and hunt someone down. Service at H&M is abysmal.
