Decided to stop by and tried this stall as it has the thosai that my kid was looking for. He has a real soft spot for plain thosai. Hence I ordered 2 pcs as well as some random Indian rojak to go along. Horrors arises when my orders was ready. The stall owner had drenched the thosai with the curry instead of how other stalls would have done it - separately by the side. In fact the stall don’t even have the usual curries and yogurt that a thosai set will come with, and simply poured fish curry on it just like any prata. I told the stall owner that the thosai was meant for my boy who can only take the mildest level of spiciness but he just shrugged and did not offer to re-do. I decided against any further actions as I understand the difficult times for these stalls. But I made a point not to visit this stall again for their unprofessionalism in their craft and food. It’s really a classic case of the false advertising if you just base it what they show on their signboard Also since this left a bad taste in my mouth, I cannot really comment on the food. But if you wish to know, the thosai was 3/4 uneaten and the Indian rojak 1/2 finished.
