★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been kind of a long patron of Hair Inn, although not a regular one. I've been following the Plaza Sing team through their several location changes, from Orchard Central to CentrePoint to PS over tha past decade. The branch manager, whose name starts with G, has been my main hair stylist and she had decent skills & put great care in doing haircuts. However in the past few years, I've been feeling her haircut & attitude have been going towards mediocre. In the latest visit, I showed her a picture of the hairstyle I liked, but it eventually turned out totally different. It was unbelievably...bad. It would be easier to swallow if she had said from the start she cant deliver. I'm gonna boycott and never go back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to cut my hair. The lady came out looking unhappy and ask what haircut did I want. As my friend showed her a picture on her phone, she threw a towel around my shoulders. She was aggressive and unfriendly. Towards the end of the cut, she was cutting my bangs and I saw she had cut the left side too short which was way above my brows and it was very uneven. When she was done, I went to touch my bangs, she used a hair dryer to blow that part of my bangs/face to make it fly around like she’s trying to hide it and hope I won’t notice. Did not even say thank you upon payment, still looking very unhappy. Everyone who sees my hair comments on how uneven it is. Unpleasant experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for a wash & blow. The lady who did my hair was rude, put no effort into the washing and didn’t ask for my preference before styling it in a way I disliked. I left feeling dissatisfied and annoyed. It’s a shame since the previous 2 times I came, the other stylists were nice and competent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here to do some rebonding. My hair is really in its worst condition as I do perm and coloring for my hair. Marc, the senior stylist gave me some pep talk and check my hair condition first, and was nice enough to suggest what's the best thing to do. He was very keen on doing the rebonding steps while explaining the process. He managed to take off the dried hair and make it straight, silky and bouncy again. Will probably recommend this salon to my friends! Good job to the staff as well! ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve chanced upon senior hairstylist Carmen a couple of years ago and has been going back to her whenever I need a change to my hairstyle. Luckily her work has been consistent and I’ve been happy repeat customer.
I’ve had different services done with her at separate occasions ranging from rebonding, perms with C-Curls to stylish bob cuts, all at reasonable price points. She is focused and attentive when doing your hair and makes good recommendations.
I recently walked in with an unruly head of hair and walked out with a neat sleek stylish bob that frames the face at the jawline in a very flattering way.
The place is tucked away in the basement, away from the heavy foot traffic but still comfortable enough for a longer hair appointment.
