★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best lei chas I've tried in Singapore. Owner is also super friendly. Ordered through Grab. If there are any issues with your order, owner will text/WhatsApp you and even address you by your first name. So sweet and caring. Thanks for the delicious food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New found spot to enjoy my fave local dish: thunder tea rice. Belacan is tasty. Tea soup with sesame seed elevates the flavour. Stall is tucked inside chinatown complex. Tidy and neat stall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent Hakka thunder tea rice and yong Tau foo in Smith street. Portion was generous, not too oily and tasted good.
Thunder tea rice had large quantity of vegetable stir-fried till savoury and fragrant. Thunder tea soup was not too diluted and went well with the rice.
Fried YTF included tofu stuffed with pork, chilli stuffed with pork, ladies finger stuffed with pork, shiitake mushroom. Every item tasted fresh. Personal favourite was the shiitake mushroom.
I did not feel thirsty after consuming their food, which was a plus. Overall, everything ordered was executed decently.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was closed for quite some time but finally manage to try it when they return. Really gao thunder tea and very generous in the ingredients. Hakka ytf not oily and quite flavorful. Chili goes well with the ytf.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ HamCha is Hakka for leicha if you are wondering about the stall name. The leicha soup here is the authentic homemade Hakka HamCha, the best I had in SG.
The YTF is not bad, they do use pork for the filling like most Hakkas but I prefer if the filling is firmer. The stuffed mushroom was great with the shitake mushroom very firm with good bite. My only complain is that they do not reheat the YTF before serving.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I went to try Lei Cha. The dish itself is simple, but full of flavor. The soup taste at first spon could result too herby but mixed in with the rice and veggies it makes an awesome light vegetarian dish to enjoy in Singapore. The staff was friendly and they taught me how to eat the dish since it was my first time. The homemade chili sauce was a bomb!
