Leicha and YTF is really good however please be prepared to wait for an average time of 1 hour. Stall opens at 10.30am. Ive waited since opening time until 11.35am to be served. More than 1 hour today. You will be shaking heads with the fellow people lining up for the food. Sometimes they let people cut the queue? They take their time and thereโ€™s not urgency. Not sure why it takes so long for food that is already pre-cooked compared to other hawker stalls that have to cook on the spot and they are much faster. The younger girl is rather rude but the rest of them are pleasant. If it werenโ€™t for the slow service, I would rate 5/5.

Superb value for money for Thunder Tea Brown Rice set @ $4. Their Yong Tau Fu are nice too.

Excellent, freshly prepared Yong Tau Foo. Only qualm is that I felt thirsty after having it. Be prepared to wait, the queue forms even before the stall opens. Thunder tea rice was so-so, there are better, more hearty and fragrant options in other places.

As a thunder tea rice lover, ke jia thunder tea rice is definitely one of the best in Singapore and their additional ingredients are freshly fried so they tasted very good too. Also very value for money!

I queued for 45 mins to gobble this down in 5. Where this bowl was meant to be fresh - it delivered. Where it was meant to be crispy - it snapped. The brown rice was quality, you can tell by how the grains looked. Thunder tea in its peak form. And great service โค๏ธ

Always a long queue for this stall. Wanted to have chicken rice unfortunately it was sold by, not even 1.30pm. So decided to try this out. The rice without the โ€œteaโ€ is good enough. The โ€œteaโ€ has a distinct mint after taste. Not my type tbh. The Yong Tao Fu is a bit oily and the filings are just too little for $1/pcs. $4 for the tea rice is average?

Excellent Thunder Tea Rice, though the tea is not salted, unlike other places. The service is a bit slow. It took about 20 mins to clear the queue with less than 10 people. Looking at reviews apparently plenty of people having too much free time claims it's worth the wait. And this type of mindset is quite common in Singapore, which certainly does not encourage the owners to be more efficient. To me there are obvious ways to improve the throughput. How about putting rice and vegetables in bowls in batches instead of doing it one by one to order? Same for adding water to tea mint paste. That way 1 order can be done in less than 1 mins, unlike about 2 mins + now. By doing this they can either sell more bowls or go home early, can't lose, right?

Queued for 40mins for this only for multiple queue cutters to get priority service. Its mentioned a few times in previous reviews and its a problem. The food is good. The hakka thunder tea rice is good and with texture and flavour. The yong tau fu is good with good flavour. But is it worth the queue? Queue cutters put a pretty bitter taste in my mouth......
