★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be warned - Hamley’s does not stand behind the products they sell. Brand new item was crumbling and defective right out the box. Brought back to the store in MBS the unused and defective item and they refused to refund, despite a clearly stated policy online that says otherwise. Either they are making up the rules or things are just different at the Singapore location. Not a place I’ll being going back to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Understaffed store, but decent selection of toys. They've got small figurines like Smurfs as well as dragons and lions snd more. They have toy cars in many scale sizes. They have craft sets, board games and so on. I enjoy picking up small gifts here, but I don't enjoy hunting down someone to ring up the sale. Minor pet peeve, so I can say I do like this store well enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are a lot of toys specifically of European and American brands. They are on the pricey side. Staff seems to let kids freely play with toys, so it was good for us to let my kid choose toys of his choice and to spend $$ on what the kid actually wants. We went there before noon, and there were very few people in the store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a quite good shop, with a lot of nice toys produced by well known brands. There is a good choice of articles and the environment is beautiful. Apart from a number of outrageously expensive items, especially peluche toys, like an almost 2000 SGD Winnie the Pooh (well, come on, guys, adopt a stray cat, instead, you'll do a better action, truly significant), the prices are in line with the brands and ok. It is a nice place to have a walk and to remember our childhood. Ideal to a long visit with your children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The finest toy store in the world, they claim, but closer to the worst in Singapore. Their selection of mostly off-brand junk is haphazard and poorly maintained, with lots of empty shelves and laughably small selections of mainstays like Lego.
