I love their local delights, the price has gone up quite a bit, but if the taste stays, I will always go back.

Another popular place that is one of my favourite branded food and beverage outlet. Located at level one of Novena Square (rebranded as Velocity) just situated near to the entrance and exit which will lead of the newly developed shopping mall named Novena Square 2. This Han's outlet have their popular and usual menu offerings that is delicious and fast during peak hours for crowds. It operates as early as 7am in the morning to meet the demand for workers who are working around the vicinity.

Great place to have your breakfast before you head for your medical appointment as they open before 7AM. I still love their butter toast with scramble egg and bacons as always. Affordable hearty meal

Food was moderate yet a good deal with the price paid . Dnt wait for some one to clean the table , better to reach them and ask for . TKS

To be fair, the food is not too bad considering the prices. But staff service…it seems like the place was set up to demonstrate HOW NOT TO SERVE CUSTOMERS. You come into the place and you get “served” by a bunch of grumpy, yelling staff who thinks the world owes them a living. Almost reminds one of the lines in the old army cook houses.

Better value afternoon Coffee session as compared to Toastbox or Ah Kun which their prices has rocketed recently, apart Hans offer a much wider selection of choices for all 3 meals of day ;)

Updated on 21st Feb: Bumped up the ratings to 5 stars from 3 stars. This is my second review of Hans at this same outlet. What a pleasant improvement of the service staff. The young lady at the counter was friendly and efficient. I requested to replace the sides of my grilled pork chops with something else other than fries and baked beans, and she gladly obliged and even make a note down in the order form. The food came nicely plated and the manager even asked whether I needed any other condiments to go with it. Grilled pork portion was substantial though a little salty. Nice and quiet on a Saturday evening. I usually get takeaways for their pastries and tarts. Love the honey madeleines, super yummy, buttery and delicious and so affordable! The peach tart is delicious too. Also tried the chocolate eclair, which has a light cream piped in it, not too bad. The strawberry tart was quite nice but didn’t like the jelly topping which tasted a little like cough syrup. 2 stars off for the bizzare service crew, either very strange staring at you not understanding what you are saying or just being very weird. But I am guessing Hans probably find it hard to hire service oriented staff.

Regular outlet that can be quite slow in preparing the food. Quality and variety are decent as with Han’s standard. However on the day of my meal, there was a housefly buzzing around the diners and very unhygienic, as it kept landing on the food areas. Hope the outlet will ensure such a situation does not happen again.
