This is one of the Korean food places that is Halal and is detached from the main mall. *Do note that the past pork reviews are still inside here but pls dont get swayed ya, it is now halal* The place is located at the external part of the mall but within the mall's compound. Some may get lost finding it but jz remember that it is not inside the aircon part of the mall. Outlook from the exterior is very prominent and grand. We loved the way it is being presented. For the interior, it could be better since it is a restaurant. It does look the inverse instead when u are inside. We wont compare but would say it could have been better actually. Ok, about the food taste, it is good but not the best. We have tried others and there are actually better tasting ones. So dont keep ur expectations too high k. In terms of service, they greeted us upon entry and welcomed us. This is a good deal as 1st impression does play a big part. For delivery of the food itself, it is fast and they sure would try and push out to u quickly to satisfy ur hunger. This is definitely a plus point for us. Pricing wise.. Rather affordable but in comparison to the portion and price, this is just slightly higher than what we expected. And dont forget about the service charges. So dont just look at the base price ya, remember, this is still a table waiting restaurant. Overall, we would recommend coming once or twice but it is still boils down to an individual preference and opinions. In terms of d stars, if the portion was more, the 5 stars would easily be given. Finally a Halal Korean restaurant I can bring my Muslim friends to yass~ Food wise we chose the kimchi fried rice with cheese ? ($9.80++) & chicken stew ($16++) ?. Both of which spice levels are adjustable and level 2 is already quite spicy which we liked. Food flavour wise would say its pretty mediocre, but barely enough to satisfy the Korean cravings. I'm slightly disappointed that given that the price range is on the higher side, they don't serve water nor have a variety of sides that usually korean restaurant are known for. Only given a small soy sauce plate for pickled radish and kimchi. And also the menu is really quite limited... ?

The food is below average. Would not come back and would not recommend to anyone. We ordered 2 dishes: the spicy octopus and the chicken rib stew Octopus was cold even though itโ€™s supposedly a hotplate dish? Only redeeming factor was they quickly took it back to cook it again but it still tasted undercooked/fishy. The dish came with tortilla wrap and ebiko, which doesnโ€™t make sense because they add nothing to the dish, texture or flavour wise. The stew was alright, nothing special. Honestly if youโ€™re craving Korean food you could just go to any kopitiam and itโ€™ll taste a lot better for a much cheaper price.

Itโ€™s a good place for korean food that is authentic and a plus point - it is also halal! It does mean no soju but the yoghurt drinks are good. I would recommend the grapefruit yogurt drink, the bandung lychee drink is on the sweeter side. The pancake and stew is a must order if you are here. The stew comes with chicken broth for chicken version and beef broth for beef version. Would recommend beef if you arenโ€™t allergic to it! Pancake is crispy on the outside and springy on the inside. The leek and squid pancake is what I ordered and if you are looking at the menu, you will notice the amount of leek is considerably lesser than the picture. Still nice but I would have preferred more leek. Try the crab and roe rice balls too - you will have to get hands on to mix the rice (careful itโ€™s hot!) and roll it into balls before consumption.

I heard mixed reviews about this place but finally decided to check it out myself. The beef rib stew hits the spot, added cheese and tteobokki and it's really filling. The ribs were soft and tender. Came with a side of mixed grain rice. The spicy chicken stew I think had half a chicken inside. Same as the beef rib stew, delicious. The steamed egg came piping hot. It's not bad, a bit salty. The blueberry lychee drink was nice and refreshing. Overall, I would recommend coming for the stews. During peak periods, be prepared to wait around 30-45 minutes at least. Update (Jul 2022): Shabu shabu is no longer available. The stews are still great though.

Craved for halal korean food, I like the food options and ordered the beef stew and tuna rice ball. - Tuna rice ball was good - Beef stew portion was appropriate, beef texture was soft however the stew didnโ€™t taste Korean. I also expected thin glass of noodle, yet it came as wide glass vermicelli which makes it less Korean and feels like thai food. Certainly not cheap, quite dissapointed and did not satisfy my Korean craving :(

Been eyeing this store for quite some time now, finally came here to try. โญ customer service: The staff was very friendly and informative, without us asking he explained the menu and told us how to order. โ›… atmosphere: the decors are very nice, very warm and inviting. indoor sitting. aircon temp was set right too. The lighting was damn good to take photos. ?food & ? price: I was surprised by the portion size as it was very small. we did order single but it was really not enough to fill one pax. we ordered: - Tuna riceball - Soy beef stew - Squid leek pancake - cheese steam egg everything tasted really delicious, our favourite was the cheesy egg and squid leek pancake. it came with 1 serving of side dish kimchi & pickled radish. the total bill was $65 for 3pax.
