Gotta queue to get in, manager was attentive
The waitresses were polite and provided great service standard.
And lastly, the food is delicious!!!
Will be back!

β β β β β I have always loved Go Ang and left feeling so satisfied and happy but this visit was quite disappointing. We went on a Thursday night, 8pm. It wasn't crowded and food was served quick but it doesn't hit the spot as much as it used to. We also noticed that the chicken rice is no longer served with soup. The squid is a dish that i haven't tried before and i would get it again. Very chewy and generous portions
Am hoping it was a one off thing, and would still love to drop by and enjoy a chicken rice meal again!

β β β β β Good and friendly services. The steamboat promotion is reasonable and flavorful. The portion is a little light so you may need to add on if you have a big appetite. Didn't know that they are famous for their chicken.

β β β β β their signature white chicken was pretty tender. chili was good. rice could have been more fragrant. prawn cake was delicious. prawn omelette had barely any prawns and was rather forgettable. other dishes were pretty standard - ordered the sambal sotong, fried tofu, curry chap chye as well. Thai Chendol had quite a lot of ingredients and was quite nice. overall $97.46 for 3 pax. decent but probably not somewhere I'd frequent.

β β β β β To date, I have only tried the branch in the basement of Jem. This is a Michelin Star restaurant, much like Tim Ho Wan. I only hope that a few years down the road, Go-Ang's standards won't plummet to the depths like Tim Ho Wan.
This particular branch is quite popular, and there's almost a queue during peak hours.
Their signature Thai chicken rice is fragrant, the chicken is tender and tasty, and the soup is surprisingly flavourful. While the red chilli goes very nicely with the chicken rice, I can't say the same for the accompanying Thai chilli. Best of all, the price is very reasonable, even cheaper than some of the famous places. The sambal Kang Kong is decent. I have yet to try the steamboat which seems to be another popular dish.
This is another place well worth checking out.

β β β β β The steamed chicken and rice is fragrant and tasty and Thai's style tofu and bitter gourd soup is a must to try. All other foods are delicious and tasty. No worry of excessive MSG. Have been many times, good for all meal sessions.

β β β β β A quick dinner stop at this place, we reached early with no queue, and the food is fast.
The steam chicken is worth the try and your calories. One can feel the springy texture of the meat, yet tender to the bite. The is a tad mild, without any punch, or exceptional notes.
The Kai Lan is well mixed with the basil, and the prawn cake is crispy fried.
Pricewise is reasonable.
Overall, I would visit again to try the other chicken and different dishes.
And yes, I noticed that 'tall man' mentioned in earlier reviews, he seemed rather serious or stern faced for a person in the service/ F&B industry. ?
