★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You will feel happy after you eat this. Guarantee cos the mee and soup is so tasty. Plus I can customise with tau kee and more bittergourd. Bittergourd mix with boiled steam fish is healthy no doubt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big hearty chunks of fried fish and sliced fish in a delicious broth. I went for the Signature Yi Pin soup ($8) without carbs (vermicelli/rice option). It also comes with bitter gourd, clams and fish maw.
When I saw the soy sauce glistening, I knew it’s been tweaked to suit the dish. Probably sugar.
However the drawback is this hawker centre is incredibly stuffy and warm, so it’s not the best environment for hot soup. Good thing there was no queue for this stall at all (unlike many of the popular stalls there) so you don’t have to suffer the stifling heat longer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $5 Batang fish soup with bitter gourd strips and thick beehoon (no milk). There are about 5 relatively thick slices of fish. Soup comes with 2 small lala clams and fried beancurd skin and has a distinct taste of deep fried salted fish to enhance soup flavour. But this also left a somewhat oily after-taste. Batang slices are firm and there's no fishy smell. Quite salty though. Rating based on points above. Personally won't be keen to patronize the stall again due to own preference for plain and low sodium food
