★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This vegetarian shop opens at 6 am. Very convenient for early waker like me. There are a wide of variety of food to choose from. So far I have tried nasi lemak and mee rebus. Love both of them.

order at 2.45pm written close at 3pm.
I order laksa but is look totally different on the signboard. Also, didn't have the prawn which when i first time came it do have.
(Maybe out of stock but the staff also didn't inform me early. Just asking me thick meehoon sold out whether can replace with normal meehoon).
I dont think this is the right way to run a business without inform customer that some ingredient in food already ran out and just simply and directly replace with others.
Conclusion: taste is not bad but i get a bowl of laksa with laksa soup which look like it is leftovers.?
my advise: Don't place order when they are closing soon. Will get a surprise

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their veg kway chap is very popular and I saw many ordering it while queueing. At $4, it may be pricey but their ingredients are generous and satisfying. Soup is flavourful and not too salty. I love their special chilli too. One whole herbal egg is included by default. Do specify while ordering if you wish to omit egg.
Also serves a good selection of economical rice dishes, mee siam, mee rebus, lontong, nasi lemak, laksa and porridge. Queue may sometimes be long, but it moves fast and staff are friendly and efficient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem amongst the many other vegetarian stalls in the vicinity. Located right at the bottom of Block 106 Hougang Ave 1. Accessible by bus or car (many parking spaces available nearby). Ingredients are very fresh. Rice/noodles all served warm. Variety is there as well. The mee siam, lontong, nasi lemak, are favorites but would usually run out quickly. The portion is super generous as well while maintaining an attractive price point. Service is quick and staffs are all very friendly!
