Food prices are reason.
As it only 2 of of us, we settle for the fried beehoon, noodle and cockles.
Surprisingly the beehoon is not oily and it goes well the chilli. Noodle is tasty as well. Drunken cockles is fresh and laced with chopped garlic.
Will come back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comforting meal at reasonable price! Food more on a homely taste side. Lor mee tasted as good as the authentic shop. Vege was on the blander side but was okay for me :) my fav was the squirrel fish which was reasonably priced and not overly sweet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice food at affordable prices! The fried eggplant with the pork floss was something which I didn't imagine and it was excellent! The lor mee has lots of umami and I could taste the clams in them. Steamed fish and fried chicken wings are great! Will come back again for the Putien food. Nice and cosy place. Worth coming for a taste! Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was especially impressed by the Squirrel Fish- fried well and deboned. Sauce was just right. A good place to get Putien cuisine at pocket friendly price. Will come back again to try more dishes.
It’s also located right next to a basketball court so if you’re into the sport, it’s an added bonus

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem in Lorong Ah Soo. This restaurant serves affordable and very delicious food.
Must order their fried Hing Wa beehoon. The beehoon was silky and chewy. This dish was simple but yet packed a flavourful punch.
Putien fried noodles were equally good. Broth was rich with an underlying seafood flavour. Noodles were silky smooth and chewy too.
Their Deep fried Mackerel fish came piping hot. Deep fried till golden brown, fish was moist on the interior, and crispy on the exterior. Very tasty on its own.
Overall dining experience was excellent. Their food was really very tasty. Recommended to try.
