A cloudy day and 45 mins on the bus raised the golden question What should I have for lunch? I walked thru a building and the Silver Arc sculpture brought out the curious cat out of the bag Glanced and peek inside the building Noodle, dumplings and western food were available. Still I wasn’t sure what I wanted to eat THEN I saw it…. Happy Congee Lots of choices of types of congee and rice roll noodle (Chee Cheong Fun) Decided for rice roll noodle with fried dough (Yu Char Kway) and congee meat preserved egg Congee tasted too smooth and fine for me. The Chee Chee Fun was the Super Star. Downside is the fried dough become soft after soaking a while in soy sauce. Eat while it’s crispy! It was a Happy Ending for me ?For my stomach of course. Tsk tsk tsk , what were you thinking ?

Had this at the jurong east branch. Silky chee cheong fun with different fillings to choose from, the shrimp is very fresh and doesn't taste like the frozen kind. Porridge is silky and tasty. Ordered the mala shredded chicken which is a great choice if you are a mala lover. The fritter is priced on the high side but it worth every penny, crispy and fresh. Parking is abit tricky as limited lots behind this coffee shop. But there is a multi storey carpark slightly further back, within walking distance.

Ordered on foodpanda and the food came steaming hot! Thoroughly enjoyed the century egg porridge. Taste is well balanced and not bland at all. The mushrooms were delicious and made me want to order more. The Chee Cheong fun was silky smooth and tasty. Definitely will order again!

Although the name is Happy Congee, they serve great Chee cheong fun that make me happy.. My favourite is the curry Chee cheong fun as well as the char siew Chee cheong fun. The texture of the ccf is jait amazing. Soft and tender. Oh the chilli paste is yummy as well.

Been there twice and all I can say is you must try their congee it is like Cantonese style without any rice bits. When I first looked at it I thought maybe need to add salt or soya sauce to bring up the taste as it looked simple but when you taste it you really do not need anything. Do not have MSG at least after a big bowl did not have to drink a lot of water. The other thing to try is the Zha Liang and prawn Chang fen add a little Chilli and it is fantastic. Price is not high but if you come at lunch time will have to wait as the porridge is prepared when ordered

Cantonese style congee and Chee Cheong Fun that is really authentic. The “zha liong” is nicely done with a thin skin over the fritters. The sliced fish congee is pretty good. Seating is quite limited though.

My favorite place when I’m craving a bowl of pipping hot congee. The texture is super smooth and silky! It’s delicious. The HK style chee cheong fun is also good!! Been here a few times and normally will rotate with either char siew or prawns chee cheong fun! The mala shredded chicken is super spicy. It’s only $3.80 but comes with a huge portion. Very worth it!

Cantonese style porridge which is silky and watery. I ordered: 1. Century egg & minced meat porridge - it will taste better if it is served hot 2. Char siew rice noodle roll - nice 3. You tiao - huge but can be improved 4. Braised mushroom - mushrooms are huge, but the braise did not infuse into the mushroom. In case you can't find the location as it wrongly shown on Google Map, it is at the corner of ARC380 building.
