I have been attending splits and backbend classes with Charis since Sep 2021 and have made significant progress in both areas since then, thanks to excellent coaching by Charis. She focuses a lot on building strength as opposed to just flexibility so that the relevant muscles can better support any increases in the body's range, thereby minimising the likelihood of injury. She mixes things up weekly so that different muscle groups are worked and it keeps things interesting. She also knows how to customise exercises, depending on what the different students in each class need. Classes are also kept small for individualised attention. I highly recommend classes with Charis under Hello Body.

I was recommended to Hello Body by a friend of Charis. I had a frozen shoulder early October 2021. And to un-freeze it, my friend asked me if i wanted to join in for the movement foundations-movement of the whole body and without further injuring the shoulder. I've been taking the classes ever since the injury and it's improved tremendously. Charis is a patient, and down to earth, guiding the class step by step. She individualizes the movements for different level of students. And I, being a stiff person, found that I am able to move and bend in ways I've never imagine possible. And trust me, the class is not regimental but a ton of fun. I learn something new everytime and look forward to the next class every week. To all the coaches at Hello Body, a huge thank you and continue to inspire and move as ya'll do!

I like how Charis has helped me discover surprising new ways that my body can move. Her classes are fun and challenging, and suitable for anyone (even those who believe they can’t move!). In a way, it’s kinda like saying “hello” to my body again like an old friend, and reconnecting with it in new ways. If you think working out in a gym to get fit is boring, I think this is the place you should try. It might just change the way you think about fitness.
