★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible.... Porridge doesn't taste nice, chilli was sour as tho it's spoilt. Duck is tough to chew, even the peanuts are not soft enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Braised duck is flavourful and tender with enough fat. Basically all the dishes are good standard teochew porridge dishes. Have been a returning customers for a long time. Comforting during the cold season!

Porridge had a great consistency between gooey and watery.
1. Pork Belly was tender, chewy and have melt in the mouth fats.
2. Pork intestine was soft, succulent and cleaned thoroughly without the pungent taste.
3. Fresh Blood Cockle was awesomely drenched in soya saucey and chilli padi to add some spice.
4. Brinjal was slimy, soft and covered in tasty dark soya.
5. Duck apparently was quite normal, meat was not that soft enough.
6. Stir fry hairy gourd with tang hoon and egg was great, crunchy and tasty.
7. Hae Bee Hiam so-so, seems to lack spiciness and taste a bit weird.
8. Meat with salted egg was kind of standard. Nothing special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for a quick late evening dinner. Not bad. Open till late so good for those who are off work late and looking for places to eat. Will try their braised duck next time as am told by the staff that they are good for their braised menu
