Saw the high reviews and came. Huge disappointment. Meatball is not well marinated, sauce has too much ketchup. Maybe its just my taste buds that differs from the rest. Try it at your own stomach storage risk.

Was glad that when I visited there wasn't a long queue and it didn't take long for me to get the food. I spent more time waiting for a table than queuing for the food instead. The items here were quite limited but the recommended is the signature minced meat noodles so I definitely had to order that. The pictures of the prawn paste soup also looks intriguing so I ordered that as well. $6 for a bowl of noodles might seem expensive in a coffee shop but they made it up with quite a bit of premium ingredients. The scallops and abalone slices are already worth the price and there's almost like one of each unique ingredients to try. The fish skin was very well fried and I think that could be a very good replacement for the pork lard. The Fishball was also very smooth and chewy so I enjoyed it a lot. Some things which I felt could be better was the chilli wasn't that spicy and flavourful. The prawn paste tasted simple and also kinda lacked flavours, not sure if it was well seasoned. The soup is really quite power packed and loved the minced meat that goes so well with the soup. Noodles were very dry and had to keep adding soup to it. Still pretty enjoyable nonetheless and kudos to the young hawkers for the good food.

Heard about this meepok stalls that is in one of the coffeeshop opposite Temasek polytechnic. Heard very good reviews and decided to drop by one day to try. They operates on 2 different timeslots each day, 8am to 2.30pm and from 5.30pm to 8pm. Apart from the minced pork noodle, they have other item on their menu like the signature minced meat noodle, prawn paste and meatball soup. Noticed that the people operating the stalls were relatively young chaps. Ordered their signature minced meat noodle which was SGD$6, it comes with prawn paste, homemade meatball, mock abalone slice, scallop, minced pork, pork slices and fried fish sticks. Noodle was nicely cooked, texture of the noodle was springy. The sauce in general was kind of salty to me, it was getting quite gelat towards the end. However, do not be mistaken. In general, it was still quite a good bowl of meepok.

We ordered the $6 signature bowl as the additional $1.50 gave us 2 clams, 2 slices of abalone, a scallop and a prawnball. Noodles were QQ chewy though a tad salty. Loved the crispy fried fish sticks and pork lard bits. Serving was a little slow even though the queue was short, so don’t go for this if you’re in a hurry.

Helmed by a pair of young hawkers, their noodles are not bad. The meepok is QQ, and the chilli is nice but not too spicy. The fishballs, meatball and prawnball are handmade. The clams in the signature dish are fresh, but did not add much to the dish. It could have been bolder in flavour, with more ketchup, vinegar and definitely a dash more of pork lard. The broth was rich. The small signature goes for $6, while the small meepok costs $4.50. My wife liked the fried fish skin, though I found if a little on the bland side, though very crispy.

It's indeed tasty and the fish skin is crispy and addictive. Slightly on the oily side. Will be great if the noodle portion to be slightly more. Overall recommended and will go again!

It was quite tasty, the soup is super salty! But overall worthy of it's taste and price. Not sure why not many Q, but the pork rib prawn noodle next to it was long Q though. Young men owners were affable and friendly. Worth a try!

It's located at the coffeeshop and it is crowded during lunch time on weekends so it could be hard to find a seat. Ordered the signature noodles and prawn meat soup. It's quite expensive but the ingredients given were good. The noodles was good and so was the fried crispy fish. Soup was nice too.
