The queue is expected to take at least 20 - 30 min during lunch time. The boiled white chicken was not too tender or delicious but the roasted one was much better.

Cheap and really good chicken rice in this area. $5 for a set with roasted chicken drum stick and wing. One of the best in this area.

Rice: texture was great, rice was fluffy and not greasy. I like that it was fragrant, and rich from chicken stock. It's wasn't salty at all, which allows you the option of adding dark soy sauce. Chicken: the chicken skin was my favourite bit, flavourful and not fatty. Chicken was tender, it's not the best I've had but I'll happily come back here any day. Soup: there were pieces of silken tofu in the soup! It didn't reek of MSG, which I appreciated, but it's like chicken water with sprigs of spring onions and some fried shallots. Cost: $2.50 Guys, it's so rare to get food so good and cheap. I'm going to miss Singapore.

Roasted chicken from Henry's stall is superbly done. Very flavourful. Will eat this if we are around this area and IF the stall is open. The noodles is from the stall opposite, Hao Hao.

A famous chicken rice stall operating since 1985 and I am giving it 5 stars for its tasty roasted chicken, special in-house garlic chilli sauce and value for money at $2.50 / $3 for a single serve with plenty of meat (read: 2 rows). Every piece of roasted chicken comes with a thin layer of crispy skin with minimal fat. The portion size is generous, almost covering the whole surface area of the rice. The chilli has a sharp, tangy, vinegary bite with a deep, spicy, almost peppery flavour that goes very well with the roasted chicken. The rice is run of the mill and barely qualifies as chicken-flavoured rice. Come early, there’s always a snaking queue and they usually sell out by the end of lunch time.

My favourite chicken rice stall for roasted chicken. Most chicken rice stall serve dry chicken breast meat, not this one. The flavour and tenderness from the roasted chicken thigh, outstanding. Visiting this stall after a few years, and the taste and quality is still the same. The chilli sauce is very refreshing, and not watery as with most chicken rice stalls. Always worth the queue.

Roast Chicken Rice with Braised Chicken Feet. The roast chicken is probably one of the best I have eaten and its really quite difficult to find a good one. They also have the non traditional braised chicken feet instead of the typical chicken glass feet.
