β β β β β A long-time favourite for those in the neighbourhood and a little beyond. Things are way more competitive these days, with lots of choices for good tze char places, but this place has its own nostalgic charm amidst an old HDB area, and the food menu favourites still delight the tastebuds of regulars. I popped in to have a simple hotplate beancurd with rice and wasn't the least bit disappointed.

β β β β β Price is reasonable but the taste & quality of food quite normal. Simple and can find in any Zi char stall. Total we paid $130+ inclusive of chill crab for 6 person.

β β β β β Food was decent at best, including their supposedly signature dishes. The three eggs spinach was the worst - tasteless with so little century and salted eggs, and vegetables were too fibrous. San lao hor fun was bad too - meagre ingredients and too much cornstarch. The enoki tofu was passable. Everything seems to be precooked as they were served too quickly. Staff were friendly though.
Apparently, the famous drunken blood cockles are no longer available.

β β β β β Heard a lot of raves about it. So ordered via phone to takeaway. Packaging were decent and service OK. Ordered the fan favs like the milk pork ribs, etc. Dishes were average, even, forgettable, unfortunately. Only worth mentioning was the fried yam. Perhaps it was the long interval due to the takeaway. Definitely not worth the trip down from Woodlands.

β β β β β Overall food was kinda average.
1. Hot plate tofu (ιζΏθ±θ
): can taste the wok hey.
2. Chinese spinach with 3 eggs: tasted quite bland.
3. Cereal prawn: personally my fave out of the 3 dishes, but nothing out of the ordinary. Had the option to come de-shelled.
Plus point was we could find a table pretty quickly on a Friday night.
A pity that we didnβt try the milk powder pork theyβre famous for.

β β β β β Looking for a safe and clean Zi Char place, popular in the Commonwealth area? Itβs Two Chefβs which has been serving their signature dishes like the milk powder pork ribs, and fish slice hor fun. Always a good crowd dining in or for take away. Menu is very wide ranging and they have just about any dish you are craving. Enjoy!

β β β β β Visited on a Wednesday late afternoon and the place was rather quiet. There was a short queue to order but service was very efficient as it moved rather quickly.
Ordered the milk powder pork ribs with rice and there was a faint sweet smell. The pork ribs were well prepared, wasn't too tough. It was a mix of sweet and savory, but wasn't too cloying.
As I came alone, I didn't order other dishes to go with my meal. So the rice was rather dry.
Overall, I would recommend only if you are in the area. I would not specially go down for the milk powder ribs.

β β β β β Busy place on weekends but the waiting time is reasonable. Staff take your order quickly and the kitchen moves fast. Generous portions so ordering small for noodles/rice is more than enough.
What to order?
1) Butter Pork ribs or Coffee Pork ribs
Pricing is reasonably done around 20 or less for a large portion good enough for family of 5.
2) Horfun is alright for a staple. Or order the tofu dish with enoki for those who love to slurp up some rice with tofu.
What's not so nice...
Skip the fried "Malay" spicy noodles...not spicy not quite tasty.
Overall reasonable price and food.
