β β β β β Saw this stall many times when I patronised chicken rice and the char. Finally had a chance to try it. As they has stated βtraditional tasteβ? Not sure how was that linked? Ordered $4+$2 for extra prawns. In my opinion, the noodles are normally, prawns are tiny. Soup is basically peppery, other than that, not much of flavour.

Came here for the first time after many year....
Prawns are not fresh..
You can see it black in the picture.
They unload a lot of pepper to make sure you cannot smell the prawns.....
Their pork ribs are all frozen soft bone...
Not pork ribs..
That's why their soup not that flavour nowadays.
Ordered a 6 bucks.
Didn't finish half bowl.
Could be a lot lot better than this..

Walked past the coffeeshop and noticed almost everyone was eating this, so naturally I got to try it. βΊοΈ But I think I made a mistake - everyone was having the soup version whereas I've always preferred dry noodles. Turns out that the broth is the gem! The flavours were so rich and tasty I almost wished I got a bigger bowl.
While the noodles is good too, I think the flavours were a little overwhelmed by the spicyness (feather weight here) and the lingering taste of the broth; the prawns and meat slices were very fresh and tender too.
A very satisfying meal, worth recommending!

β β β β β I was very hungry and ordered 2 bowls of Prawn ? noodles soup. One with modest small prawns ?($5) and one with the large prawns ? ($20). Needless to say both taste exactly the same. The soup tastes of prawn and it is tasty enough. What you are really paying for is the size of the prawns. As in everywhere else, the large prawns are frozen and tasteless (perhaps not worth the money). Stick to prawn soup. Still recommended.

β β β β β This place is near my hostel which is only 2 mins walking. This is an chinese restaurant specialized in prawn noodles. The bowl of mee is prepared quite fast but chopsticks and spoons are not perfectly washed so you can feel a bit oily.
This is a place that you have to serve yourself. No one will bring the dish you your table, you have to do it and bring the tray when you finish.
I ordered 2 bowls and it's very delicious and a bit spicy. You have 2 options between soup and dry. The price is very good, around $6 or $7 for a bowl. I think this place is a good restaurant if you are staying in Little India ?????

? Food wise: First off, drink the soup, it was so fragrant, in-depth and sweet! That alone caught one's attention and got excited about the main dish.
The noodles were soft and very savoury, the sauce on the noodles was so tasty, one was so tempted to order another bowl just for the noodles.
Prawns were peeled, fresh and sweet and the pork slices were tender and succulent! The intestines were chewy and delicious, but probably not the type one would have preferred, fatty intestines is still one's favourite. Uncle was pretty generous in the ingredients, look at the amount!
