★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favourites. The rice is very fragrant, can eat on its own indeed as mentioned by another reviewer. Chilli is slightly sour spicy, which is nice. The minus in fact is the chicken meat, I have eaten better ones elsewhere. This stall is a 4-star for me but always long queue. Very famous in the neighbour. I suspect now many good chicken rice in the premise?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the more popular chicken rice stall in this region. Expect queue, from start till food runs out. Rice by itself is good enough for me to eat on itself. Chicken is soft and tender, added some char siew for taste of pork. Can taste hint of vinegar, ginger and garlic in the chili. Soup provided. Overall good combo, good value on price/portion. Heard they provide child portion too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All time favourite. Best chicken rice in the west. Have been eating here for more than 10 years and never tired of it. Rice is tasty, chicken soft, don't even need to eat with chilli. Cheap as well. $2 for 1 packet of chicken rice, $11 for half a chicken and $22 for 1 whole chicken.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rice of the chicken rice is superb. My kids after eating since young, now they are in the twenties still said best chicken rice.The cost of per plate of chicken rice was $2.50, just increased due to the lack of fresh chicken if not, they have been selling $2 per plate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This chicken rice has been one of the absolute favourite for a few decades now, and it’s still cementing its place as one of the best in the west (if not sg!) with their $2 offering/plate.
? the chicken is tender across all portions, even down to the breast meat!
? fragrant rice with light soy sauce, could easily down 2 plates of this any day, by itself hehe
? one of the best chicken rice chilli to date, always chase down a saucer of this with my meal
⏰ Queue can easily stretch up to 30 mins - 45 mins during peak hour and they are normally sold out after 130-2pm.
? kudos to them for keeping prices affordable whilst maintaining the standards ??
