★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Out of 4 other chicken rice stalls (not counting Soh Kee Cooked Food which is a different category), Hong Feng Chicken Rice has established itself as the player to beat for best quality chicken and its rice. Don't take my word for it! The queues justify this...even when Hong Feng's is the most expensive of the lot.
Let's talk specifics here. A whole chicken costs, at the time of this writing, 26 dollars here. It costs 22 dollars elsewhere. Yet, for 4 dollars extra, you get to enjoy chicken more succulent, fresher, and rice with flavours truer to Hainanese tradition.
Having tried all four stalls, my vote definitely goes to this fabulous enterprise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hardly go Jurong and my favourite chicken rice stall was closed so I just stumbled upon Hongfeng. I am puzzled why the ratings given by others are so high! The grains are not properly cooked and the white steam chicken is quite tasteless. This is definitely below any average chicken rice stalls I have eaten.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best steamed chicken rice I have ever had! the meat is delicious and the rice is puffy, all the flavors blend smoothly into your mouth and the soup is balanced out with a generous serving of vegetables.
I highly recommended this store for everyone to try out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best steamed chicken I've ever had. In my opinion, it's even better than the famous ones, because it's tastier, fresher and juicier. The roast chicken is also very fragrant and tasty. The soup has veggies in it and tastes good as well. Now when I have a craving for chicken rice, this is my default go-to place. If you're going there for dinner, try to get there before 7pm and they sometimes sell out early!
