★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Engaged homepainting.sg team to paint my 3 bedder residential..
job was well done, walls painted well and finishing was straight.. everything was literally covered with plastic sheets by Mr. Saiful and gang.
The manager shared the differences between the 2 sealer types and was friendly.
Highly recommended! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Engaged them to paint my house and was very satisfied with the final look. Everything was neatly done and not one paint stain was left on the floor.
Prices are surprisingly cheap as compared to most painting services offered here in Singapore. Would definently recommend to anyone who needs to get their house painted fast but with cheap price!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would rate the painters who did the job 5* but the company itself 3*
On their website they say they’re the direct contractors but I found this to be not true.
Home Painting is the main contact company.
They have an operations team who contact suppliers:
Paint: Supplied by Nippon, delivered via Lalamove directly to your home.
Painters: Supplied by subcontractors (so technically don’t work FOR Homepainting, but hired by).
On the day itself, the painters were foreign workers which I have no problem with, they were super nice, worked really hard but they themselves had no direct contact with Home Painting so I had to do a lot of middle man communication to resolve a few issues.
First, Home Painting did not supply enough paint. 2 cans for walls, 1 can for ceiling for a 3 bedroom apartment. This was surprising of course, the painters called their boss who did nothing. I messaged Home Painting who blamed Nippon, in the end more paint was supplied within 2hrs.
Secondly, the painters were given minimal tools. 2 rollers, some shabby hand brushes, some plastic sheets, barely any tape, 2-3 buckets & rags. No ladder, no long rods.
Again painters called their boss who did nothing.
I messaged Home Painting (don’t bother calling, she won’t pick up) but thankfully rods & ladders were eventually (2-3 hours) provided but unfortunately no tape & brushes.
In the end I took one of the painters to Home Fix & asked him what he needed to do the job. He felt so guilty though he didn’t need to because it was absolutely not his fault.
I just wanted my new home painted & if I have to fork up a few bucks for tape & brushes so be it. Luckily was only $12.
Once we had everything we needed, the painters could finally start working and what was supposed to be a 1 day job instead became a 2 day job due to wasted time painfully communicating with Home Painting & waiting for the right supplies to arrive.
I don’t mind a 1 day job turning into 2 days, luckily my landlord gave me 2 days to paint as he had scheduled for Move In cleaning the days after. But it was inconvenient for me & the workers to come back & forth to the apartment to open/close doors (as I hadn’t moved in yet).
I understand things happen. We’re in a pandemic, workers are low, demand is surprisingly high. There is unemployment & restructuring of businesses etc.
However Home Painting never apologized.
There is only 1 number on their website. You cannot call her, she will not pick up even if I can see she is online so you have to message which I feel slows things down. Benefit: We both have everything in black & white.
She gave the excuse that she is not the one who runs operations, she’s just frontline reception. I understand but when you’re part of a company that provides a service. Service was being poorly provided. I would’ve appreciated an apology.
When the job was done though she was quick to ask for the remaining balance & photos.
I get it, you guys need the money but again, no apology & no rebate of any sort? Wow.
We paid in full, I didn’t want to argue further. Though I can’t help but feel those painters would’ve been paid peanuts considering how many subcontractors & middle men there were.
I also managed all of this 7 months pregnant.
I’m sure Home Painting have done brilliant, no fuss jobs in the past & looking at their reviews that was why I hired them in the first place. It’s possible I’m just unlucky due to this pandemic hurting the economy & businesses in general but at the same time, if you can’t provide great service you can be proud of. Why service at all, just tell me you’re understaffed or operations is a mess & I can find another company.
Cause who wants to hire bad service for the Home their going to live in.
I obviously wouldn’t hire their services again & next time would work directly with Nippon.
So that was my experience, I wish the foreign worker painters well & hope they got paid well too!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Engaged in their services after searching for painters online. Just did one room painting, only had to let them know the colour and size of room and they settled the rest. The whole process took about 5 hours (one painter) and 2 other supervisors. Thanks for doing a good job!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chanced upon this painting service online and decided to engage them to paint my 1 bedroom due to the transparent/cheap pricing, fuss-free and prompt response from Ahmad. The job is well-done in about 4-5 hours and I will definitely recommend to my friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When the painter arrived, he did not bring all the necessary equipment. He needed a ladder and newspapers to be provided. That was still alright. However, during the scrapping process of the ceiling, he did not cover the floor with any plastic or newspaper. This make the whole floor to be covered with the scrapping leftovers. During the painting process as well, the painter expected us to cover everything up ourselves. That was still alright as we are willing to assist. However, there were areas that he said that covering was not needed. After the whole paint job was finished, the painter actually passed us a scrapper and told us to scrap off the excess spillage due to his lack of skills. The paint was all over the fan and air-con as well. When he left, the amount of clean up took us more than 3 hours to finish. Overall, the painter is not a professional in the job and did things really half halfheartedly. If the paint job that you required is of higher difficulties, I would suggest looking for another service. P.S. The scrapping was done poorly as well, as shown in the photo.
More notes: Look at these bunch of lowlifes. I already feedback about this to their contact when I posted this review but they still tell me to contact the same line. Just show how much they actually cared. Stop throwing yourself into the drain.
