Gravy very diluted and salty, only gave Chicken rice chili for any no meat order. Not as good as before.

Great service ! I didn’t know they close at 6pm and the auntie waited for me till 7pm to pick up my order. Really appreciated it, and needless to say, the roast duck was excellent, everyone at my party loved it.

I first found this place based on Seth Lui’s list of top roast meat stalls in Singapore. My first encounter with them was for my wedding; my wife’s family wanted a slab of roast pork (their family tradition), so I wanted the best. The nuptial couple is supposedly not allowed to partake, but they said it was fantastic. A year later I had the chance to come here on my own on a weekday lunch. I ordered roast pork rice with an extra helping of roast pork (siew yoke). The roast pork was doused in some kind of light sauce that was slightly salty. Most disappointingly, the roast meat which was supposedly β€œfantastic” according to my in-laws, was not crispy at all! It was a bit of a let down to be honest, considering I waited an entire year to try it. Maybe he was having an off day? Maybe I came too late in the day?

One of the best tasting roast ducks available. If your timing coincides with the time it's comes freshfrom the oven it's still warm. Crispy skin and flavourful meat that even high end restaurants pale in comparison. Worthy of calories.

Real good soya sauce chicken (Tender and flavourful instead of the usual dry and hard), portion were decent for it’s prices too.

Heard about this place previously from a food blog. Walk past this place a couple of times before as well. The very first time I was there, they were not operating as they were in the mid of renewing some licenses. Came back the second time and they were operating this time round. I reached around lunch time but there wasn’t any queue, there was only a lady before me. Ordered their Hong Kong wanton noodle which was SGD$3.50. The plate of wanton noodle comes with the standard charsiew and wanton and was drenched with a ladle of their sauce. Chili is self-serviced. Noodle was nicely cooked; texture of the noodle was springy. Wanton’s filling was very generous, had to be one of the biggest wanton I have tried in Singapore. The only thing that was a let-down was the charsiew. For a place that pride themselves as serving Hong Kong roasted meat, the charsiew was seriously bad. It was bland and dry. Such a let-down.
