★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible meal, the typhoon shelter fried rice sent from the package heated not up much with four water scaled shrimps to my table. Just feel that I am eating cold food from yesterday’s meal. The dessert - dried bean curd with ginkgo nuts, is the worst I have tasted. If you do come here, order their noodles - it's at least average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Sheng Kee Golden Fried Rice is the MOST DISGUSTING FRIED RICE EVER!
It’s dried, nothing like fried rice, it’s worse than a cheap Fan Choy from the Coffeeshop. There’s no egg, not golden, was unusually yellowish reddish, black bits of supposedly char Siew, feels like it’s layered with plastic, msg & chemistry, came from a steamer. Leaves a weird aftertaste, boiled frozen shrimps were tasteless.
Pork chop rice was slightly better. Pork chop for some reasons taste a little like McNuggets from Macdonalds’s.
No worth visiting, horrible food quality.

We ordered 3 desserts which came close to $20, and my friends didn't enjoy their orders.
Plus point is that they operate till after 10pm. A cosy environment for anyone seeking for desserts at night but have enough of mac :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here around dinner time when almost all places were full and had long queues. This was one of those where we did not have to wait long to get a seat. At first I thought this was only a dessert place, but it had something else to offer. I had beef brisket with rice and made it a set by adding chicken mid wing and home blend iced lemon tea. However we were served another gyoza instead of chicken. At first we called the attention of one auntie, but later on we said it was okay, we'll take it. But the auntie still took and replaced it. We also ordered noodle set with milk tea, siew mai, prawn fried bean curd and mini lava custard pau. Everything was good. I could go back another time to try their other dishes.
