β β β β β Discovered this gem near our place with the recommendation of our friend who returned, to a large extend because of the great hospitality of Ruby.
Food is great. Ruby recommended the tuna toast (must try!) which she personally served. The yakitori sticks are also very delicious.
The drinks are great, with a good selection including ume highball. This joint is understand to be under the same organization as the popular public izakaya, offering the same high standard of delectable food options.
Only gripe is with the manager lady who appear to be making both the crowd on the day and staff rather uncomfortable. Would still return for the great banter with Ruby, but may choose days when the manager is off duty.
Definitely a good place to chill with friends any evenings! Book early if you want indoor tatami seats!

β β β β β It's expensive but I really REALLY liked their pork skewer and their chicken hearts / gizzards (can't rmb which). Their skate fin is also so fun to eat. Ok I DO like this place but it is rather pricey.

β β β β β Came here at 6.30pm on Saturday. Nice food and cozy place. Situated at Tanjong Pagar, 5 min from MRT. Not crowded. Will definitely come back again.

β β β β β A nice cozy izakaya with wonderful dishes. Unique and beautifully cooked. Surprised by every dish that was ordered. Definitely worthwhile to go back! Has a few 4-6 people tables as well! Drinks were good too.

β β β β β We come here for drinks/dinner/snacks pretty often. Staff are super friendly and always offer the best service.
The food here has been consistently amazing - from appetizers like crab mentaiko to mains of grilled kampachi, yakitori sticks & wagyu beef, everything we ate tonight were on-point yums. I'll let the food photos speak for themselves.

β β β β β Quiet Izakaya place at the corner of the mall. Good for catch up with friends without the busy traffic and loud background music. Indoor and outdoor sitting areas are available.
Food was generally pretty good, prepared by a Japanese chef. The sewers are a must try, moist, tender and succulent! The portion of each skewer is larger then any I have encountered before in a Singapore based Japanese restaurant. Another must try is the potato salad, you will regret it if you missed it.
