Exploring this pet friendly cafe during the weekend. So far they do serve very nice food but got to sit outdoors for those who brought their pets along. So it might get abit warm along the way in the afternoon. Very friendly service.

Dog friendly outdoor cafe, love it that I can get my chihuahua meet up with her friends. Hukie the resident dog is extremely friendly too! ??? Went there for lunch and we ate their set meal which comes with an appetiser and drinks. We ordered our main dish Prawn and Mushroom Aglio ($18.90) and Truffle Meltique Don ($19.90). Was all worth it! Keep it up!

Very pet friendly cafe with great food. Dogs can be unleashed on the patio. Water bowls and food items for dogs are available. We had the beef bowl and carbonara and enjoyed both!

A great place to dine with my doggo. Food is good. Place is big and comfortable. Dogs get to run free and mix with his own fur friends. Surely will return again.

*EDIT 1* Owner contacted for a revisit after seeing this review, have yet to find time for a revisit. Will review accordingly once revisited *Original review* Was supposed to visit another pet friendly cafe nearby but was told to try HotChic2 because the food was better by a friend who went few months back. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. In total we ordered 1) Sake mussels with truffle 2) Crinkle cut fries with chilli beef dip 3) 3 piece garlic sakura chicken wings 4) Vongole pasta with mussels and garlic butter dashi broth 5) Meltique ribeye beef steak (topped up for steak version) 6) Butcher's platter 7) 2 servings of Dog rice bowl 8) Mentaiko salmon aglio Total bill came to about $230 Service was excellent no doubt but the same can't be said for the food. Overall food was considered to be too salty for consumption, only food that was finished was the Vongole pasta, salmon mentaiko pasta and crinkle cut fries. Sake mussels were too salty it felt like it was cooked in seawater, and it had a discolored black mussel which the manager claimed was not spoilt and she ate it after we returned it to the kitchen. However we were given a replacement mussel that was edibe. Garlic chicken wing was overly salty as well, but seasoning tastes good. Baked potato with the steak was undercooked and hard like an apple, that i could not split it with my spoon, manager claimed she cooked it and was suppose to be crunchy. Crinkle fries was good but the chilli beef with tomato dip was also overly salty. The only good thing from the butcher's platter was the pork, rice, fries and salad. The pasta and wings were once again overly salty. As a pet owner i have a habit to taste the food my dog eats before i actually let him eat it. One mouth of the dog bowl and i had to spit it out as the rice was hard and i couldnt bite into it. It was the uncooked kind of hard and both the rice bowl and broth served was chilled. But understood from the manager that the rice was left in the refrigerator and served after. After feedback, manager claimed that customers enjoyed their food salty, potato was baked to be hard and crunchy. Was only given refund for 2x Dog bowl after request. By my definition of salty in this review, i meant that it is equivalent to eating a spoonful of salt. Said friend in review was eating together and claimed it tasted so much better the last time they came.

Been to many cafes and restaurants this year but this was definitely the best one yet. Great food, great atmosphere and brilliant service. The staff were awfully friendly as well. Definitely highly recommended for anyone that wants to bring their pets out for dinner! I would recommend trying the Hotchic Ceviche, Iberico Pork cheek Don, Oysters, Salmon Mentaiko Algio, Garlic Chicken Wings, Beef Bolognese and the Lychee Rose cake, trust me, you won’t be disappointed. Cheers guys, we’ll be back soon! Christopher Bay

Visited this dog friendly restaurant at the Grandstand, ordered the Chicken Cutlet rice and was surprised by how good it tasted. Family also ordered the Carbonara and platter and they were all above average! Staff were friendly and accomodating too so recommended!

One of the best pet friendly cafe I've visited. Serves great food and friendly staff. Highly recommend the Pork Cheek Don, Chicken Confit and Carbonara with marinated egg yolk. Will definitely come back again!
