β β β β β Seafood was amazingly fresh. Get to pick live seafood and they will cook it in the style you choose for you. Prices are reasonable too. More for a place for families to enjoy good food at a reasonable price. Ambience isnβt the best as itβs at an old building and not renovated well. I wonβt bring clients for entertainment here but Iβll visit with friends and family. Overall ???

β β β β β Had an extremely satisfying meal @ Owens for my momβs birthday celebration. Staffs were all friendly and cheerful which made the whole experience even more awesome. Seafood dishes (except the fried fish) were all freshly picked & tasted great. It was a great time overall!

β β β β β The best seafood restaurant we had in Singapore so far. Price is quite reasonable (480 for 8 pax with black pepper crab, big oyster, fresh tiger grouper θθζ, etc.). Sure will come again.

β β β β β This is my familyβs third time visiting this place but it has been a disappointing birthday celebration dinner for my uncle, his wife, my parents and I. When the first bill reach us, We notice there is an additional charge of rice ($1) and 2 extra hugs of beer ($56) before gst and service charge. When we asked why is this the case, the waitress did not apologise at all and blatantly said βthat is why we asked you to checkβ. Is this the kind of service to your customer when u make mistakes ? After she came back with the correct bill, she even blamed it on the cashier for not computing it right. When asked for the first receipt, she claimed it has been thrown away with the rubbish. Lastly, the first bill also charge tea per pax when we show them that only 2 of us drank tea and the waitress said we should have told them right from the start if not it will be chargeable per pax. Hello? U expect me to know that when I donβt work there ?! When asked for her name, she claimed it to be βKalenβ. She has a slight China/malaysia accent (I lean towards China), chubby at around 1.6m and with bangs.
Food: US Clam meat is very small after itβs cooked. Eel is very over priced. Overall, i find the service (especially the service) and food not worth the visit even after the 50% discount displayed at the live seafood tanks. With the same amount spent, u can probably get much better service at other well-known live seafood restaurants.

β β β β β Live seafood restaurant serving the usual fare. Quiet in the weekends which made it easier for us to get a table.

β β β β β Second time here, and found that their pricing is a bit inconsistent. For such seafood restaurant, with 'pay as per weight', it is really quite hard to estimate the costs, and one had to pay if one wants to eat. However, not for all items though. Ordered the Alaskan crab, and of course this is gonna be expensive and not going to dispute, but some other items seems 'chopped radish'. The bamboo clams, prawns and lala advertised 50% discount, but even after the applicable discount, price seems steep as well and makes one wonder, and so without the discount, that plate of lala would have cost a $100, that 4 bamboo clams $120? Also, they did not tell us that for crab if needing two separate style of cooking (known as two ways), an extra charge will be added. While I think it is fair to pay, but if someone order the Alaskan crab at over $400, not charging for second style of cooking seems a good way to attract returning customers etc. (unless ordered cheaper ones then yes, please charge).
Pricing aside, the seafood served here were really fresh and taste good as well. Will recommend the Alaskan crab for super indulgence. The drunken prawns and bamboo clams were good too. As for lala, while it was fresh, however, the sambal cooking style doesn't taste sambal spicy at all, but rather more like the chilli crab style of sweetness sauce.

β β β β β Great variety of seafood. Pricing is transparent which is shown on the water tanks. Taste also not bad for the cooked seafood. Prices I would say market price. Paid $270 for 2 sharks fin soup, 2 bamboo oysters, 3 oysters, 0.5 Peking duck, one brinjal with minced meat, one stir fried clams and 4 coconuts.

β β β β β I have been coming here on and off over the years. Seafood is definitely fresh. You get to pick your own. Prices are displayed upfront so you donβt feel like you got conned by βmarket rateβ gimmicks. Food prices have gone up with inflation so be prepared to pay. If you are on a budget, stick to the lower priced seafood like Tilapia etc. Peking duck is actually pretty well done. Cooked in the traditional Beijing style you find in Beijing.
