โ โ โ โ โ Deposit 100 and was not told about the T&C.
Went into the room, strong bleach smells
and weird smell on pillow? Thin pillow and blanket. Upon checking out, one of the Malay staff told me that got stains?? And need to charge 30sgd. I am not aware of it and unsure if this is the technique on how they earn money? And the stains could be from previous stayer? Please check if there is any stains before leaving. Unprofessional staffs @ front desk.

โ โ โ โ โ Booked 4D3N here, and very disappointed with their service. Definitely not recommending and not ever coming back.
- No phone in room to call for room service
- No daily housekeeping unless requested
- Have to give multiple reminders for housekeeping.
- Sheets were REUSED and not changed:( (shocking to see SG CLEAN cert given)
- After complaining to the reception with photo proof of sheets and dirty floor, they came to change sheets, and told to request for full housekeeping next time in order to change everything lol. (Meaning all this while sheets are only reused n not changed here yuck!)
- Hotel running with v less manpower hope the management does something about it
- rubbish kept outside room not cleared (whole corridor left with rubbish)
- toilet flush not working at times
- toilet soaps not refilled
1. Sadly Only one Housekeeping person for whole hotel:
Daus: nice guy came back to redo the sheets upon request with smile.
2. Receptionist: Linda, handled our complain and feedbacks well and helped to sort them
3. Receptionist: Laila,
- extremely rude, didn't get the room done with housekeeping for our 3rd Day and simply said "Housekeeping guy have left work, u expect the front desk to clean?" V unprofessional and rude??
As a whole, please choose some other hotel for your money. Hotel calmo is a disappointment ????

โ โ โ โ โ I stayed 2 nights in a deluxe family room type that was booked via traveloka. I went with 4 adults. check in was smooth, the receptionist was very kind, friendly and also polite. a deposit of 100SGD will be required, and it will be returned upon check out. I recommend staying at this hotel if you go with your friends or your family, by taking this type of room. the location of the room is next to the receptionist, the mattress for me is quite large, there is a small refrigerator & iron that works well. (I didn't turn on the TV). but the wardrobe is not enough for us, so keep the clothes in the suitcase. Good wifi. Bathroom 8/10, with bidet & water heater. It's just that the room is a little dusty. When checking out, I can leave my luggage until I take it back at night at the reception. On this floor there is a microwave, a place to wash dishes and a stove that can be used.

โ โ โ โ โ Didn't get to stay there....
I booked a room on 24th Nov at Hotel Calmo 2 weeks before my intended stay as i saw that it was sg clean certified in agoda and booking, and my booking went thru agoda's site and i even have a confirmation email on the day of booking. Today (1st Dec) i called the hotel number that is provided in agoda's website for some general enquiries. To my dismay, the staff on the line told me that my booking may not go through and may be cancelled as they are still not Staycation approved by the Singapore Tourism Board. When I had asked if he is able to let me know when they will have an answer to the approval status, the staff told me to give a call again on 6th Dec, which is only a day prior to my intended stay. If worst case scenario, the booking is cancelled, i would not have ample time to look for another hotel as i have an event running on the day of my stay.
I feel that this was such a bad response as a hotel staff. In terms of booking, i am sure the hotel would have received my booking details a few days after i made the booking in agoda, where was the courtesy to call and inform me that i may need to prepare for hotel cancellation in the scenario that they are not staycation approved? Why did it take me to call them to get that information? What if i did not make the call and just turn up on the 7th only to be turned away at check in? This would be a waste of both my time and the check in staff who would have to explain and deal with an upset customer.
Secondly, instead of informing me that you will help to follow up on this case (as the intended stay date is already in less than a week), you suggest for me to give you a call one day before my stay? That would certainly cause me to worry and panic. The staff didn't apologise and did not sound apologetic either. This really made me upset at the end of the call. I'm unsure if i'll ever book a room in Hotel Calmo again because of this experience.

โ โ โ โ โ Receptionist is very friendly & nice. Excellent location. Excellent price. Wide rooms, even got a free upgrade.
Altho wifi speed is bad, but all sins are forgiven since this is the only hotel I went to that has a water-based toilet spray. Not even Marina Bay has this spray. True gem

โ โ โ โ โ Stayed at a deluxe triple room for 2 nights. The room is spacious enough for 2 pax.
However, the actual hotel room did not live up to expectations, as room is smaller compared to what is seen on the hotelโs website. Was disappointed when we opened the door to the room. Cleanliness maintenance is an issue. Cupboard was faulty & there were some leftover trash on the floor under the sofa.
Bed is rather hard and the blanket is too thin - sadly, no duvet.
Thereโs no room service so if you need anything in the middle of the night you would have to head down to the information counter to make your requests.
The plus point would be the location - thereโs lots of food places and cafes to explore in the vicinity. So I rate a 3 because itโs a decent boutique hotel, with a good price, just not for fussy stayers!
