Lion Peak Hotel Bugis - 103 Beach Rd

Bad service !!! Aircond was spoiled first night and asked us to move to temporary room and got it serviced at midnight and asked us to move back in midnight!!! Now room is locked and master key could not open the door to my room. My stuffs are inside stucked now. What kind of hotel is this?????

I will never go back there again!!! When I arrived my room on the second floor, I found that my room was already opened and the room looked really ter***** as you can see in photos. I know it’s cheap but it’s not only old but it’s also d****. I didn’t expect for a very good room in this price. But this is lower than I can imagine.

Nice place, clean, i visited Singapore for 3 days and i booked this hotel, worth it. The bedroom clean and bathroom also nice. I really enjoy. Most important this place very strategic. 3 minutes to Bugis mrt , 5 minutes to Masjid Sultan and easy to find delicious food there.

Bad as hell!!! Noisy corridors, dirty rooms!! Booked 6nights stay but they only do cleaning/housekeeping every 3days!! Which HOTEL does that???? No tissue as basic necessity in the room. First night incident was AC spoiled at 10PM, gave us a temporary room to move, at 12AM they just decided to knock on the room to let us know the initial room AC is serviced and ask us to move back.. at 12AM which we have slept already !! The next day, room door is locked and even a master key card could not open my room, and my stuffs are stucked in the room!!! HOW CAN THIS BE ? LIKE SERIOUSLY!!!!

We stayed there for 3 nights, in general I would say: - Staff professional: 9/10 - Hotel location : 10/10 - Hotel facilities : 1/10, they don’t clean the room every day, it’s fine. But the towers, too bad quality, it so old that you can’t even use it for kitchen cleaning. Please see photos - Hotel quality : 2/10, the whole ventilation system is so old that it make noise continuously 24/24, it felt like someone is drying hair all day in the bathroom, can’t sleep at all, if you are noise sensitive, DONT STAY HERE. But if you are okay with the sound nonstop, then it’s okay. That’s what happened for old buildings. The only thing that can fix is changing the whole building ventilation system. I work in hotel renovation projects before so I am sure about that. Another thing is because the ventilation only make noise but doesn’t work well so, when you turn on the air conditioning and then take a shower, the room is too small and no window, it’s all water condensation on the floor, on the wall. Be careful, very slippery. If you are out of water bottle, please come to the reception, cus they won’t change it if they don’t clean the room that day.

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Following are things that I didn't like - 1 - They don’t clean the room every day. 2 - I noticed long women hair almost every where in the room i.e. on bed and side table etc. 3 - Ventilation system is not good at all. Don't come if you are noise sensitive. You can hear sound from outside the room i.e. someone is using dryer. 4 - There is no window and you can't have fresh air. 5 - You cannot control AC from your room, you have to call reception for change in temperature, It was really pathetic thing. 6 - They don't clean the room every day so you can imagine no washroom cleaning, no water bottle replace, no new sachet for tea. For every small thing you have to call them and sometimes you have to go at the reception. Things good about the hotel - location is good, you have many options at night nearby to explore.

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because of the location but the hotel itself is not great. The literal size of the room is of a king sized bed and the bed is queen sized. But it was just a place to sleep so we weren’t bothered by the size and at least it was en-suite. The cleanliness however was shocking. There was so much hair on the floor it looked like it hadn’t been hoovered in months, like a literal mesh of human hair covered the floor - all kinds of human hair from several different human beings. And there were stains on the bedding in the first room that we stayed in (we stayed here twice). I genuinely thought that they hadn’t cleaned it but they had. The towels as well, completely covered in human hair. Wouldn’t have used it to save my life, thank god I packed one with me. We also thought that maybe it was just that room but when we came back the second time, the same with the hair and towels. If you can afford somewhere else do it

The location of this hotel was great and very convenient but it lives up to its name being a budget hotel. Cleaning is done once every 3 days, which is understandable. So if you need new towels, water etc. you need to call reception to ask. The room has very very bare necessities such as a bed, a small bottle of soap, toothbrush + toothpaste, towels and a hair dryer. No tissues, fridge or anything you’d expect in a hotel. The room was also very tiny and could only fit 2 single beds. If you have many luggages (like we did), you would struggle for space. Even the comb provided was tiny. Additionally, the service and professionalism from staff were OK. There were some language barriers between staff but generally, they were helpful and able to service us. Would I stay here again? Probably not but good option for students and budget backpackers I guess.
