Hotel NuVe Heritage, City Hall

Really great room (explorer suite) and location obviously. Hotel concept is weird as the lobby of the hotel is basically a restaurant which makes it confusing to find. Staff are nice but whoever answers the whatsapp has no power to talk pricing. I found cheaper prices on aggregator websites but they wouldnt price match even though i wanted to book direct.

Location is great. Lots of nearby food stalls and restaurants. Close to Bugis Junction and MRT station. Arrived way earlier ahead of my check in time, however, the staff was willing to accomodate an earlier check in(2 pm instead of 3). Great service on their end. interior wise, room was decent. Stayed in their deluxe king and superior double rooms Now to the negatives…. -The hotel itself shares its place with a restaurant and the entrance is actually through the restaurants located in one of the building bloks along the main road in bugis. The reception is inside the restaurant. Not easily accessible at all if you have large suitcases(entrace is elevated) or using a wheelcair. Troublesome entrance and exit - room does not have proper sound dampening materials. Sounds coming from the hallway and other rooms can be easily heard inside the room. Even with my tv on. On top of it, any cars passing through the hotel can definitely be heard too. Didn’t have proper sleep because of the noise. -room is not clean. Quite visible the moment i entered the room. Molds along the corners of the restroom. The drinking and coffee glasses are not clean. There are foggy stains showing on the exterior and interior of the glasses. - the hotel is partially under renovation Construction guys were preesent on the 2nd floor in the hallway in the afternoon and there’s dust running through it. You will hear construction noises if you choose to stay in your room in the afternoon(given you’re on the 2nd floor)

Room: I booked Quaint Queen without window room. While I checked in and found that the room I booked was having some dust on the bed sheet and on the flood due to the room was just done air-conditioning service . When turn on the air con those dust was blowed out and fell on the bed sheet and on the floor. Report these to front desk and they arrange technician to rectify the air con problem. After the technician servicing about half an hour's, front desk initial to help me upgrade my room without keep me waiting. I feel good and appreciated they do think and act on it by solving the problem instead of keep me waiting the Aircon problem. Love the upgrade room. Suggest for future improvement. Do cross check the overall condition whenever there is Aircon service or any repair work done to ensure is well done prior it release to customer. Location : very convenient, surrounded with restaurants area and easy access to public transport. Service: Frontdesk and housekeeper was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed at the Explorer suit on the 2nd floor. Positive points: Location - Fantastic location with MRT very close and tons of food options around Service - Staff was fantastic and very helpful. Free minibar was a plus Negative points: Cleanliness - Cleanliness was not there. There where mold on the window, and the 1 thing that was really disgusting was the coloured pillows, couch and seat. It smelled like someone had left 5 years worth of sweat on it and left it in a dark corner to rot. Had to bring it far away from the bed as the smell was really bad. Almost puked. Maintenance of the room was bad too. The wooden boards on the floor was completely destroyed, it was on the verge of peeling off. Conclusion: For the price of 300+ SGD the Explorer suit was not worth the money there can be better rooms that are cleaner and better maintained around the same area. The only good point was their friendly staff, big toilet and minibar, but that did not enough to provide comfortable stay.

Bad experience for me. No. Worst experience in Singapore for me. The hotel location is great but among the hotel staff whom I met, only one man is professional. The room quality is terrible. I was in room 504 and heard noise from WC upstairs, next room and door close, people coughing... From next room. The reception desk is hard to find as you will have to pass a always empty restaurant in order to reach the reception desk. I saw more than a guest opened the wrong door on the left of the entrance ???..

Everything was great and we stay in was nice and cozy place. The place that we stay was the last level and only us that's a good privacy. The view was ok but the toilet door was noisy so I hope you guys can fix the screeching sound glass door. I will love to come again.

Stayed at the photographer suite, it was a good size for group but the maintenance of the place was not. Toilet looks clean but the tiles are old, auto toilet couldn't sense properly and often slams, corners of the walls were not maintained and left rusty, spoilt or black. The regular Queen quaint room was worse. The toilet was not maintained properly - toilet unit was chipped and not cleaned properly, shower was rusty and handle dropped off as I tried to turn it. While the cleanliness is not a problem, the hotel needs to spend more to maintain the condition of the rooms.
