Great selection of food. Good quality

Despite some Negative Nancy's claims that the food isn't that good, the hoards of loyal followers keep this shop open from morning to night. The dishes are flavourful and different from other hainanese curry rice shops or mixed vegetable rice shops. the range of dishes are not as much but the quality is excellent and very consistent... I'll dare to rate this as one of the top 10 rice stalls in Singapore.

The curry rice average to me, but the plus is it has many dishes to choose from. For me Hananese curry three must dishes are pork chop, cabbage and egg porch, of course the curry has to be good.

Food court price, so ex for a hawker center... And I agreed with one of the review... They cut the portion of the pork chop, and the pork chop is so slim and thin, I thought I am Bak Kwa.

Should have read the reviews before I order. Wide varieties of selections and the Q are cleared pretty fast. Average curry to me. And I am not sure which part taste Hainan? $6.40 for the plate is definitely way above average!

I think a bit over hyped of this curry rice. I ordered the famous pork chop and the curry chicken. The curry was good, potato is cooked well and Infused with curry flavor, the chicken is alright but the meat does not fall of the bones so it was not cook long enough. The most disappointing is the pork chop, it is not crispy at all was a bit soggy.

Very famous Hainanese Curry Rice stall situated at 209 Kovan Market. This has been operating here for many years. Couple of my favorite dishes include the Fried Pork/Chicken Chop, Crispy Roast Meat, Cabbage, Long Beans. You may also opt for a little signature curry sauce to be drizzled on your rice. Price is also reasonable and the portion is generous. Also one of the more famous stalls around with long queues spanning 20-25 pax each time especially during peak hours. But no worries as they are super efficient and quick, you will get in front in a matter of 10-15mins. The white beehoon is also great but can be a little salty at times. Decent breakfast meal too! There are also other very decent and if not much better curry rice just around this vicinity as well, so do try them out too. The Sin Chie Toke Huan Hainanese Curry Rice Stall is also very very authentic and flavourful.

Used to be my recommended stall, until I encountered the staff can be very rude. Original review: Hainanese Traditional taste and quality. If you wasn’t to eat Hainanese Curry, this is one stall. 1 pork chop, 1, Chicken chop, bitter gourd, Hainanese curry over rice - all for $5.60. Update: The pork chop is reduced for the same price. Staff is very rude disrespectful telling off threw back refusing 5 cents coin. They could have been polite in this case, and isn’t Singapore 5 cents legal tender?
