F	Freddy Chong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 服务烂透了，还是去后面摊别家鸡饭开心点。做不到鸡饭有鸡皮，要客人加钱买她家的鸡饭。借口多多。没关系新加坡不只是你在卖鸡饭。 The food is ok but the service by the chinese Old PRC lady is not willing to sell me the $2.80 chicken with chicken skin but want me to pay more $3.80. Since the service sucks, i will have to give 1 star. The service is terrible, so I'd better go to the other stall behind the chicken rice to be happy. Can't make chicken rice with chicken skin, and ask customers to add money to buy her chicken rice. Many excuses. It doesn't matter Singapore is not just you selling chicken rice. The food is ok but the service by the chinese Old PRC lady is not willing to sell me the $2.80 chicken with chicken skin but want me to pay more $3.80. Since the service sucks, i will have to give 1 star.
J	J L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Utterly disappointed and felt the stall is dishonest. I ordered half a chicken but there was missing portion of the drumstick, chicken wing and thigh. The chicken is bloody and clearly undercooked. Definitely will not visit again ☹️
W	Wang Teck Heng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This used to be the most popular chicken rice stall, now it’s queue is relatively shorter. Tong Fong Fatt is now it’s direct rival. Jin Zhan Ji’s rice is light on taste with a tint of chicken rice taste, like a low fat version. The chilli was a little better than your cheap vinegar version but did not have any strong fruity taste in there. The chicken is probably it’s GEM. Texture is good, meat tender and smooth, skin has the jelly like fats. A pretty good chicken rice but not raving good. If you crave for chicken rice and you are in Kovan, I do not think it will disappoint. Not worth the effort to make a visit though.
Q	QY Loh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to this stall twice and wanted to get chicken thigh area for my kid but on both separate occasions the auntie gave me the same response that someone bought the part earlier on. Worse of all, I saw three whole chicken hanging at the stall. If they want to sell a certain part of the chicken, suggest to indicate upfront rather than make people queue and purchase the parts they want to sell to customers. Very disappointing!

The chicken was bland, tough and sort of tasteless. It's just like they just poured the flavoring over the chicken without propering marinating them first. ? The chicken liver is of poorer standards as compared to the other chicken rice stalls I had tried. Similarly to the chicken, it suffers from a bland taste. The only decent thing is the rice. They set customer's expectations higher as they proudly display numerous newspaper mentions of their stall. After I had tasted it, I wondered how it got all the mentions. Unless they improve their standards, I will not recommend it to anyone.
Y	Yi Xiang Ong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Personally feel that this chicken rice is above average despite the previous reviews here. Roast chicken is tender and flavourful, rice is fragrant, chilli is just right, price is reasonable. Worth a try if you're in the area and craving for chicken rice.
