Excellent experience . You can see mudskippers and small little crabs. There are vending machines with cold drinks . Bring coins. Notes are accepted but one was faulty. The walkway may be crowded on weekends.

This house was built by a Scottish colonialist. He definitely felt homesick as you can tell by looking at the chimney at the roof of the house. Probably its the only house in singapore with a chimney on it? It houses a small museum inside and there are restrooms nearby, which you can use after concluding your check jawa boardwalk!

Quaint historic colonial house, comes with a chimney fireplace and even a stable (converted to toilets now). A scenic place to take photographs. It's near to the mangrove and coastal broadwalk, where a family of wild pigs have been spotted foraging amidst the nature reserves

A renovated and reconstructed colonial home of former Chief Surveyor that was originally built in 1930. Completely rebuilt in 2003 or so. Interesting that there's a fireplace inside... Walk around to see what NParks has done to educate us all on Chek Jawa. Go walk out to the jetty. BTW, please be careful as some parts of the "home" is low and watch your steps.

When Singaporeans realized what had been uncovered a 100-hectare wetlands teeming with wildlife. They flocked to the area and plans for redevelopment were halted. The 1.1 km boardwalk along the coast is a convenient way to view the rich plant and marine life, while a 20m tall viewing tower also gives you a chance to observe birds like the Collared Kingfisher and Straw-headed Bulbul. Good maintenance for building and structure till now.
