Morning around 9am and long queue st this new prawn noodle stall. Typically there are 2 type of prawn noodle. The penang prawn noodle in soup and the signature prawn noodle in soup or dry style. I ordered the signature prawn noodle dry style at sgd 5 and added pig tail for sgd 1. The prawn noodle come with 2 big prawn, fish cake, slice pork and a good amount of kang kong veg. The noodle was well cooked and sauce with chilli goes very well. I like the chilli paste which seem is home made and not those commercial type that can b bought from supplier. The prawn is fresh and springy. The pig tail added was praised just right and tasty. The hand made fish cake claimed to be popular but I think is very average. The soup taste full of sweetness of prawn. I would back again and would recommend other to try.

Used to be prawn village before it changed owner and got rebranded. Menu and style of prawn mee is the same but the heart in the cooking is no longer there. Hence, even with the same recipe, there is something lacking in the taste, and it is evident that many like me could tell based on the dwindling crowd. The lack of heart is also evident in the way customers are served - the aunty taking orders is beyond rude. I find no reason to patronize this stall anymore.

Be careful when you buy from this stall. The auntie there will try to sell u the upsized version. Had on ocaasions said u wanted the small or $3.50 but she will still prepare the $5 portion. Quite dishonest and attitude is usually not good

Had wanted to eat the char kway teow but the queue was so long at 11.30am on a Saturday and after 10 mins, didn’t move an inch. So we progressed to this instead. But what a wasted trip for me. All the way to Ghim Moh for this. My friend ordered so I have no idea how the service was. But food wise, don’t waste your calories on this. The whole bowl didn’t gel in terms of the taste. The soup was bland and had nary any taste of prawns. There were 2 unshelled prawns and my friend opted to have frozen prawns added. It’s the first time I encountered such frozen prawns used in prawn noodles. What was also strange was the addition of half a hard boiled egg. Such a hodgepodge of ingredients in a bowl. Even the soggy pork lard bits could not lift the dish up.
